As someone who genuinely likes what Nothing is trying to build, I feel there’s a lot of potential that can still be unlocked with a bit more focus on execution.
One area that could really improve is after-sales support and communication around updates. Faster, more consistent updates, especially security patches and bug fixes, would go a long way in building trust. With the kind of backing the company has now, investing in a stronger team for both development and community engagement feels like a natural next step.
It would also be great to see more active interaction with the community. Right now, it feels a bit quiet, and even flagship devices like the NP3 could benefit from more visible and regular update cycles.
On the UI side, Nothing already has a unique identity, but a bit more refinement could elevate the experience further. Small details matter. Things like showing charging time on the lock screen, modernizing the weather interface, improving widget functionality, and expanding lock screen customization options could make everyday use feel more polished.
The camera app is another area with huge potential. Adding a proper manual video mode and LUT support for video would really appeal to users who are into content creation and want more control.
It would also be interesting to see a simple, reliable Notes app with cloud sync and strong privacy focus. Alongside that, a transparent update roadmap would help users feel more connected and informed about what’s coming next.
A dedicated community app could bring users closer to the brand again, and something as basic as a built-in sound EQ in settings would be a very practical addition.
