Hey everyone, I’m back with a new concept. I’ve made a lot of changes this time, and it feels more personal and more aligned with my own vision. This isn’t from Nothing’s perspective—it’s purely my take on how I see the product. This second concept feels much more refined and mature compared to the previous one. The camera placement is improved, the overall clarity is better, and most importantly, the design feels stronger and more intentional. I’m not sure why, but I’m really obsessed with the 4a body design, so I took inspiration from that, along with a few elements from my 4a Mini concept. In my previous concept, I went with a rectangular matrix to enhance glyph visualization. But after seeing the 4a Pro, I feel like Nothing might stick with a circular matrix going forward. Should we go for a 3D model? Raj Thanks mate, yeah, I went with millennial colors intentionally, it looks timeless and classy, and brands never try going with such schemes. I also tried normal colors, but they weren’t vibing with the design. You can check out on Discord.

Hi, Community

I’m sharing a more detailed 2D model of our Phone 4 concept. I really liked Preet’s work from the beginning, and we connected over our shared interest in design. We decided to collaborate, build on the idea together, and it turned into something really fun and meaningful.

Working with him has been a great experience—we explored ideas, designed in Figma, and learned a lot throughout the process.

This is what a community is all about: collaboration, teamwork, and friendships.

There are still a few things we can improve , but I’m really happy with what we’ve created together.

PREET AJMERI Now it looks fire , with nothing aesthetic , just that textures are missing like those dotted dents ,ridges , like what you find in 3a pro , 4a and 4a pro.{It could only be replicated by 3d renders I believe} Hope more people can collaborate on each others ides and can bring together such amazing works ….

ChrisJ Thanks a lot, glad you liked it! I completely agree-Nothing’s signature textures are still missing here. They’re only really achievable through 3D renders, which is something I find quite challenging at the moment.

DJ almost like this , yea 2D will be 2D . It would be amazing if someone rendered this with those textures in 3D

ChrisJ The spacing, number, and size of dots can be edited for a tighter look. Honestly, applying a 3D texture to 2D isn’t a great idea, so for 3D, we’ll need to move to 3D.

Edit:If you mean 3d for 3d then definitely it’s gonna be fire 🔥
