I recently updated my CMF Phone 2 Pro to Nothing OS 4.1, and overall it’s a great update — smoother animations and no more lag in panorama mode. Really appreciate the continued support.
However, Depth Effect and other customization options are still missing from the lock screen.
I chose CMF for the Nothing OS experience, fully aware that some hardware features wouldn’t be included. That’s fine — but software features the phone can clearly handle should be available.
The Dimensity 7300 Pro has a 4.8 TOPS NPU, and users have already enabled Depth Effect on rooted devices with no performance or battery issues. It seems the feature is already in the firmware, just disabled.
This isn’t about adding something new — just enabling what’s already possible. Even a simple toggle in Settings would make a big difference.
Hope to see this in a future update like OS 4.1.1 or 4.2.
