So I’m an Asphalt Legends player and from some time I’m facing some performance related issue in the game and it’s not just Asphalt I tried it with BGMI too and it’s happening in that game too in Asphalt the phone only offers 2 fps settings 30 and 60 when set to 60 the game is stuck at 45 or sometimes 50 fps and it does not get lower or above in the game and in BGMI on smooth setting it provides all 3 60, 90 and 120 fps settings but when set to 90 or 120 the fps is stuck at 70 and when on 60 it just stutters so much dropping to 50 and lower which leads to phone heating and dropping the refresh to 60 or even lower in some cases. And I have almost tried everything I know from dev settings to forcing the 120hz and nothing works I tried reinstalling the game restarting the phone and nothing have worked so far that’s why I’m here now seeking some help (At the start when I bought the phone things worked perfectly but after the first patch I think it was when I started facing this issue.

AdityaYadav_X2YmIXNAOa I’m facing the same issue - the FPS drop is drastic, sometimes falling to 2-12 FPS on my Nothing Phone 4a.

I had another issue when playing stumble guys on the phone 4a, the touch controls are not working properly. Anyone had this issue? Is it fixed?

Yes I have noticed this same issue in my FC Mobile game.

The touch response is too bad.

And I’ve noticed slight delay in touch.

After a new days of owning the 12GB model of the Nothing Phone (4a) I have noticed that every game I play is hard capped at 60fps, I have set my refresh rate to 120hz always and I have made sure that all the games are set to the highest FPS possible but the phone is always stuck at a constant 60FPS. I have even tried going into developer options to try and bug fix this issue but nothing seems to work. I have sent feedback to Nothing about this issue but if anyone knows a way to fix this problem please let me know.

I also have the same problem am not able to play mini militia classic too I have 12/256 gb nothing phone 3. I don’t know what is the solution I have done all possible things and it only goes 62 fps

So enabling “Disable default frame rate for games” inside dev options didn’t work for you? If so, did you restart your phone after enabling that? Also have you tried adding the game to the “games list management” inside : “Special features > game mode” ?

And last but not least, you’re dfntly not playing games on battery saver mode, right?

Can you play above 60/90 fps on your device qnd what device are you using?

JP I wasn’t aware of it. If such an important matter hasn’t been fixed after 4 major OS updates… why would anyone interested in mobile gaming, pay around $500 (at least?) to buy one of their devices?

I have a CMF 1 and not interested in gaming anymore. But if I was into it, I’d have dfntly done a research before buying it.

(Had a $400 poco which used to handle WuWa on High/60fps settings just fine. But the$ 150 CMF 1 is way more fun)

Idgf97 it was good before nos3.2 … almost all game used to run at 120fps…after nos 3.2 they limited the fps to 60fps for all games ..

Users should report this so it can be fixed in future updates…

Bgmi/pubg still runs at 120fps… i also have cmf ph1… i stopped playing games on my phone about 6 months ago … but i did test minecraft and it was capped at 60fps…🫠

Subway Surfers runs fine at 120Hz on Phone 4a, while it is capped at 60Hz in Phone 3, despite Phone 3 being supposed to have a more powerful CPU than Phone 4a
