Just wanted to share a frustrating loop I’m stuck in with my **Nothing Ear** buds and see if anyone else has dealt with this.
First off—the audio quality on these is incredible. It’s the exact reason I’ve stayed loyal to them. But the battery issues have been a total nightmare.
* **The Problem:** One earbud drops from **100% to absolutely 0% in just 30 to 35 minutes**. This is with ANC completely turned off.
* **The History:** This isn’t normal degradation. While the device was under warranty, I had to claim replacements a total of **3 times** for this exact same rapid battery drain issue it used to for few months fine then boom💥 it’s back again and this time is is out of warranty 😵💫.
It feels incredibly unfair that a flagship, premium audio product becomes a paperweight just because a chronic hardware issue—which Nothing tried to fix three times prior—decided to return after the warranty expired.
I’ve reached out to support to ask for a managerial escalation, but I wanted to see if the community or any mods here have advice on how to get this resolved. A 30-minute battery life on a premium device just isn’t right.
Has anyone else successfully gotten an out-of-warranty exception for a recurring defect?
