What is Glyphify?
Glyphify is built around versatility, but its flagship feature is Extential. Extential lets you map any contact, app, or conversation to a specific Glyph with a range of animations to choose from. Each mapping is called an Extential, and every aspect is customisable:
- Timeout period to turn Glyphs off automatically
- Animation duration
- Keep animations active while the phone is unlocked
Glyph Progress takes this further by letting you track the progress of any app that publishes a readable progress notification. Think WhatsApp backups, Spotify playback, Google Maps, and more, all reflected live on your Glyphs.

What’s new in v4?
Extential Profiles are the headline addition. Create as many profiles as you want and schedule them by day and time, so you always know who’s texting without looking at the screen.
Here are the most important changes:
- Profiles with scheduling: set active days and time ranges per profile
- Priority system: when multiple notifications arrive, the highest priority Extential displays first
- Per-Extential animations: assign a different animation to each mapping
- Bedtime mode exemption: mark specific Extentials to always break through bedtime mode
Phone (3) and Phone (4a) Pro are now fully supported, including the ability to create custom Extential icons starting from any image of your choice.
