Proximity sensor turns off screen during calls but touch input remains active

I’m not sure if this counts as a bug, but during a call, the proximity sensor turns off the screen, yet the screen still responds to touch. Practically every time I’m on a call, the clock app or the notification bar opens. It would be good to have an option to disable touch input when the sensor turns off the screen during a call, so these incidents don’t happen.

Tested on Nothing Phone 4 (a) Pro

Changos this should not have happened… you can try mistouch preventions and see if that works…

The same problem persists even after updating the software. The apps are all up to date, and the mistouch prevention feature is even enabled. The only thing I can think of is whether the sensor is monitoring light or the distance from the ear. I guess it would be necessary to set higher values.
