Are we sleeping on (3a)?

Honestly, things feel really boring right now. One of the main reasons I bought the 3a was because I believed Nothing’s developers actually listened to the community and delivered exciting updates and features. That’s the image Nothing built, and it’s what convinced me to buy the phone in the first place.

But after buying it, I’ve barely seen any meaningful updates or new features. And please don’t bring up the Nothing Gallery update. Are we seriously supposed to get excited over text editor?? Come on. Text? That’s it?

Where is Essential Voice? It feels like Android 17 “Rambler” will arrive before Essential Voice does. We’ve been hearing about it for so long, yet there’s still nothing in users’ hands.

And it’s not just the missing features. The battery life after the recent updates feels worse than before. Maybe not everyone is experiencing it, but for me it’s definitely noticeable.

I still like the phone and the Nothing ecosystem, but right now it feels like the 3a is being left behind.

Battery life has been worse for me too.

Performance has been awful. Everything takes a solid pause between any operation: sliding notifications/settings tab down, enabling or disabling services like Bluetooth. Everything is too slow.

Still waiting on an update.

Battery is not working that good now, no new exciting features too. No wide lens supported by third party apps, no essential voice update.

What’s the point of buying nt3a then if we r gonna run on just old nd old features updated system.

They need to get serious about their phone ecosystem and updates.

And I guess wide lens should be available by third-party apps in next update, coz same budget phone offer this features nd more.

If we are getting better feature in other companies nd mobile in same range, then what’s the point to buy a nothing devic

I’ve got the 3a Pro and I feel the same too. Thought about changing to the 4a Pro but what’s the point? Thinking of going back to Samsung or Pixel phones now.

I agree with you. The same reason I got this phone as my primary device but now it became the secondary one. Need some overwhelming updates not just security patches and text editor in gallery. Need to get this on a serious note specially for phone 3a.

I suggest you all to move to other brands if you don’t want to be in a disappointed state forever.

This brand is just all about branding and marketing. THAT’S ALL. I too have been experiencing the same for the past 3 years with my NP2.

Accept your wrong decision and move on , that’s all we can do guyss

You should enter with that mindset to avoid disappointment. Recently sold my 3a due to the endless unfixed bugs I have reported, poor camera shutter speed (cannot capture movement well if at all), and battery life since 4.1 went off a cliff.

BTW it legit amazes me that Nothing’s own Glyph Light offering was not improved at all since the launch of the 3a. Glyph Progress remains the same 2-3 apps. Literally left to rot

Same for me, 14 Years with Xiaomi and now i have the 3a and it is very boring! Except the Glyph (and its necessary because the Phone Ringtone volume is too quiet!)… Back to Xiaomi for daily driver!!!

LOL, I thought I’m the only one feeling the same.

Its like they completely forgotten about 3a which device is just 1 year old.

Anyway, Already decided what my next phone would be, it wont be nothing 😁

The basic feature, sorting the gallery folder by name or by size etc are not there.

Two column thumbnail view in gallery app takes more scroll time, the view can be improved to 4 column or more.

Ignoring public views are not a good thing. For me, no Nothing phone in my family.

Couldn’t agree more on this. Very disappointed with Nothing. Even after continuous feedback and reports, no updates or improvements at all. Planning to switch soon.
