mouhidulhaqueprottoy Open power menu, hold restart (hold!), it will prompt you to reboot into safe mode. Do it. “Use” it like that for, say, two hours. Check battery usage. If it’s negligible that will completely eliminate any issue with the OS, meaning some of your apps is at fault for your lower than expected battery life.

If it also drains battery when you’re in that safe mode thing, then it’s something with an update variant, yeah 😕

Yes Same Problem for me. Previously i used to get 7 to 8 hrs of battery back up.. But after this update more than 80% of battery is Draining for just 4hrs of screen time with the minimal use.

Hi everyone,

I noticed a strange issue today. In the About Phone section, my Black Nothing Phone (3a) is now displayed as the Blue variant. Until today, it always showed the correct Black color.

The actual phone is still Black

only the image in Settings has changed. I haven’t changed any themes or settings, so I’m wondering if this is a software bug or something introduced after a recent update.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue? If so, is there any fix, or is this something that needs to be addressed in a future update?

I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

Subject: Bug Report: Flashlight status error and continuous vibration after restart - Nothing Phone (3a)

Respected Nothing Support Team,

I am writing to report two software bugs I encountered on my Nothing Phone (3a). Below are the details of the issues:

Flashlight / Camera Status Bug:

Whenever I turn on the Flashlight (Torch), the system incorrectly indicates that the “Camera is ON” (or in use), even though the Camera application is completely closed.

Continuous Vibration Bug After Restart:

When I restarted my phone to resolve the above issue, the phone started vibrating continuously on its own and would not stop automatically.

These issues seem to be software glitches in Nothing OS. I kindly request you to look into this and release a fix or software update to resolve these bugs.

Looking forward to a quick response and assistance.

I just want to say that I am also experiencing a drastic change in battery life since the last update. (I haven’t installed a single new app since then!)

Before, it was awesome, I almost never had to charge my phone during the day. Now, I’m having to do so very often.
Recording a long sporting exercise also almost completely drains my battery. This was absolutely not the case before.

I really hope this gets fixed in the next update!

I am trying to setup my new Nothing Phone 3(a) to completely a clean Home Screen with aesthetic widgets and folders with Useful Apps that I use often daily and Lock Screen with a eye catching depth wallpaper in dark theme with cool widgets.

Please help me find and set it up.

Since installing the 4.1 update, my Camera app has been freezing whenever I use Portrait mode or try to zoom in. The app becomes unresponsive and eventually crashes.

What’s strange is that the camera works perfectly fine in third-party apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, so the issue seems to be limited to the stock Camera app.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue on the Nothing Phone (3a) after updating to Nothing OS 4.1? If so, were you able to find a fix?

After updating to Nothing OS 4.0, the black and white camera processing has changed. The previous monochrome style had more natural contrast and character. Please consider adding a classic processing option or restoring the previous monochrome tuning.

In my experience I think it is the worst update, the phone overheats when doing basic things like messaging on Telegram and listening to music, the battery lasts really little compared to before And there are bugs and glitches in the user interface like in the Launcher the camera when I take a picture the interface becomes slow and jerky It loses touches when I enter the PIN code on the lock screen really a bad update

Hello Community,

I’m new here. It’s been a year in using Nothing Phone 3A. It’s been a decent journey yet i have couple of problems. I’m writing this believing I may have a solution.

Camera app hanging when I change the Zoom option, especially in Video mode.
WIFI getting frequently disconnected when I step out of the house right away even though there is range. If try to force and reconnect it turn of the wifi itself for some reason. My IPH15PRO works seamlessly outside the house.
The Volume of the phone has gradually reduced after updates.
Hanging sometimes very rarely, which I’m fine with it.

I dont know if this problems are with all Nothing Phones are usually to Android. I’ve been a IOS user for last decade or so and this is my experience with Android when I switch back.

Let me know if I can do anything abt it. Thanks in advance
