Depth effect feature not working - help

Hey iam using nothing phone 2. Installed the new update on my phone but the depth effect feature is not working. When I click on it nothing happens. If anyone knows how to fix it please tell me. Thank you

Unfortunately this is happening to me too, I’m from Iran and I thing it is a region thing, the same thing happens with image cutout where it says it’s downloading the resources but won’t download anything.

Pop_cICCrqKOeZ Actually, I am also from Iran. I tried to change my IP using VPN, and it worked and the IP changed, but the problem of downloading the depth effect was not solved, even by clearing the cache of the wallpaper and launcher app of Nothing.

I’m trying to add depth effect to my lock screen wallpaper because I saw someone else use the same photo and it worked, but for me it just says the depth effect isn’t applicable.

L10 I’ve shared you the pic through the community post, they might have some kind of compression going on while I’m uploading the photo. I will share you a gdrive link attaching the same photo, try the depth effect using that one.

Move the photo around a bit, zoom in, sometimes it can’t detect the edges

It helps if your photo has strong color contrast, it’s a little fiddly at first but the results are worth it

Regarding the depth-of-field effect: I selected various images for the background, but the effect wasn’t applied to any of them, and the system won’t let me select it.

Idgf97 Im not sure if I’m allowed to share links here but what I did was:

Google “outrunyouth wallpaper” and click the first link that takes you to Gumroad. That should be it
