Ear (3a) takes its shape from bubbled pill packaging and Love Hultén’s pink synthesiser, wrapping Nothing’s signature sound in a bright, rounded design that lasts up to 42 hours with the charging case. Audio Snapshot and call recording help you capture the things you hear, while a bigger driver and wideband Active Noise Cancellation mean you can listen anywhere.

Packed with a larger 12mm dynamic driver, Ear (3a) delivers up to 5dB more bass than Ear (a) alongside a more detailed sound signature from top to bottom.
Ear (3a) uses an upgraded wideband active noise cancellation and a denser build to create a more natural and stronger noise cancellation experience. Sound in the human voice range is now cut by up to 6dB, with peak reduction hitting 45dB. Adaptive ANC can switch between varying levels of noise cancellation to match your surroundings, while transparency mode lets the outside world back in when you need it.
Static Spatial Audio expands your audio experience into a more immersive listening experience, placing you in the centre of the sound. Three directional microphones on each bud work together with AI-powered noise reduction algorithms to capture your voice and only your voice, cutting through the external noise of windy streets, the sounds of a morning commute, or a noisy crowd.

📞 Audio Snapshot and Call Recording
Ear (3a) offers an innovative new audio capture feature, letting you record audio moments directly through your earbuds. Whether that’s a call, a meeting, or something you’re listening to, Ear (3a) is there to help. Powered by 32MB of built-in flash storage, recordings start instantly with a simple pinch, and sync automatically to the Nothing X app across both Android and iOS.
Audio Snapshot works like a screenshot for sound. Pinch both earbuds simultaneously to capture up to one minute of audio from whatever you’re listening to, including up to 30 seconds of what already played before you triggered it. Recordings sync to the Nothing X app, where you can replay, edit, generate transcripts, and turn standout lines into shareable quote cards.
Capture the whole story and record conversations through your earbuds as they happen with call recording. Pinch both earbuds once to start capturing your voice and everyone else in the conversation — no need to touch your phone. Recordings are stored in the earbuds and synced to the Nothing X app, where you can replay, edit, speed up playback, and generate transcripts and summaries. Pinch both earbuds again to stop, or simply end the call, so nothing important gets missed.

Nothing’s signature transparent design takes on a rounder, more playful form with Ear (3a), establishing a distinct (a) series design language as our lineup evolves. The earbuds’ ergonomic design builds on our previous earbuds with an improved shape. Eartips are now available in four sizes, including a new XS size making them fit every ear comfortably.
Available in four colours, Ear (3a) returns in white, black, and yellow, with one bold new addition: pink. Not just any pink. A pink that turns heads and demands a second look. Think raspberry, think intense, think sizzling, think Ear (3a).
For the first time, Ear (3a)'s case features a refined 1×3 status light, designed to communicate system status through light patterns. Battery level, case charging, pairing, factory reset, firmware updates, and error alerts all become simpler through the new status light.
Ear (3a) is designed to keep up with real life with an IP54 rating for resistance against dust, sweat, and light rain. Even in the most unpredictable weather, it stays reliable.

Ear (3a) delivers up to 6 hours of listening with ANC on, with the case providing up to 25 hours of charge. With ANC off, the earbuds last up to 10 hours, with the case adding up to 42 hours. Ear (3a) quickly charges an extra hour of playback time by sitting in its charging case for just 5 minutes.
Bluetooth 6.0 provides a stable wireless audio connection when watching videos or gaming on your device. A seamless listening experience even in crowded spaces like the stands of a world cup match or walking through King’s Cross station at rush hour.

👾 Nothing X app
The Nothing X app offers extensive sound customisation, including four preset EQs for different music genres and a fully adjustable 8-band equaliser that lets you fine tune your sound. Once a sound profile is created, it can be shared straight from the Nothing X app via QR code.
The app integrates one tap AI features, giving you hands-free access to ChatGPT and a personalised daily news audio digest straight from your earbuds. Stay connected to two devices at once without manually switching with multi-device Bluetooth connectivity. Each earbud supports custom touch gestures, giving you quick control over playback, volume, ANC, and AI features.
