CMF Buds 2A (Battery issue on right earbud)

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out to share a persistent issue with my CMF Buds 2A that has unfortunately forced me to buy a replacement pair of earbuds, even though I absolutely love the sound signature and noise cancellation of these buds.

I purchased my pair about a year ago from the official CMF Amazon Shop (via Amazon U.S.), and I am looking for a permanent solution or insight into this issue.

The Problems:

Sudden Disconnection: After approximately 30 minutes of continuous use, the right earbud completely disconnects and shuts off.
Severe Battery Mismatch: Immediately after the right side dies, I check the Nothing X app and see that the left earbud is still at roughly 85% battery.
Excellent Audio/ANC Performance: Before the 30-minute mark, the audio quality and Active Noise Cancellation function beautifully.

I really want to keep using these earbuds as my primary earbuds. Has anyone else encountered this rapid drain/disconnect loop on the right bud? Is this a known firmware bug, a master/slave connection routing error, or a physical hardware defect with the battery cell?

Any official advice or permanent fixes would be highly appreciated.

Yea same here guys exact same issue, I also bought it about an 13 months ago. The right one just shuts off and if you put it in the case and take it out fast it’ll show a low battery level.

At least you guys used it for like a year. Mine has only been 3 months. I tried troubleshooting and draining the battery and all, but “nothing” worked.
