I’ve got to say, it’s disappointing how you guys are handling software releases.
There was a whole campaign around the Nothing OS 5.0 launch, yet the only people who seem to get the full experience are your internal team and influencers. The rest of us get a different build that’s missing some of the features you’re actively advertising in the launch video.
And this isn’t the first time the actual user experience hasn’t quite matched the announcement. With previous releases, I’ve received some updates on Phone (3) later than lower-end models, some features were missing from the initial Nothing OS 4.0 release, and even announced release dates often meant waiting several more days for the update to actually arrive.
I know Nothing OS 5.0 is currently a beta and everyone had the chance to sign up for it. My issue is that the version given to the community still seems to be missing some of the main features used to promote it.
If Nothing is really about its community, why does the community seem to get the worst version of the experience?
You often talk about wanting to do things differently. Maybe putting your customers ahead of influencers would actually be something different in this market.
