DocYBA Sadly - pretty much 😐 Or they can push an “update” to “fix” it for short term usage by simply providing higher current to the panel, which will eventually rapidly wear it down (uneven colours, then uneven brightness issues, ghosting, and in the end burn in). The issue has been reported for 13.5 months now, since the day the Phone (3) was released in July 2025, and given that there’s no fix, that itself explains how a fix is really not possible (apart from replacing the whole panel with a better quality one).
Edit: Btw, I’m talking strictly about the green tint issue. Black crush can be fixed (not fully, but by quite a lot) with a software optimisation, because, as I said, it’s just pixel response time from being off (to show true black) to being on. Same as with random other issues with grey banding and such.

A hell lot of green! No update will rearrange those pixel, not possible. And that green in low brightness is even more emphasised because of a terrible amplitude with 90 Hz PWM:
