I don’t get it. The dynamic island is a “solution” to a problem that Nothing phones don’t have. It only exists because of the huge cut-out on Apple devices, where it looks to be an interesting compromise.
As with most Apple features I’m sure there are countless copycats on the app store that anyone can install.
They definitely exist as I use an app “NotiGuy” to put a battery indicator circle around the camera so I can remove the battery icon from my status bar and always see how much charge I have. This same app offers dynamic island functionality (admittedly I’ve never tried), so if it does I’m sure there are other apps if anyone really wants the feature.
