KavinThangavel Media Player Widget is not showing the current song playing in Spotify.. But sometimes it shows with wrong cover image for songs…😔 Nothing Phone (2)
Ramuthemamu Hello i was going through the same issue. KavinThangavel Aaryan_fy9t5AYBeW hey, I’ve figured this out. You have to go to Settings > System (2nd from bottom) > Multiple users > Click on Allow multiple users. Maybe do a small restart after that and the widget now works 🙂
Aaryan_fy9t5AYBeW The nothing media player keeps asking to open any music app even though I have Spotify open. Tried almost everything but no solution.

Vignesh_006 After 2 months of trying, figured out the solution. For media player not working “please open any music app” Try resetting the app preference Under Reset Option -> Reset app preference Allow all permission. Note: this will reset all app preferences

artc This issue is still not resolved. It seems it’s not going to be resolve soon, since most of people doesn’t have this issue. It’s a really weird bug. I already tried all the solutions that this forum can offer, none of those worked. I have a question for the people that has this bug. Do you had more than one music app opened for this? Do you had YT Premium with the background media playing? Have you tried resetting your phone to factory? I appreciate your time.
