I purchased nothing 2a my phone doesn't give whole day battery backup I only use my phone for calling, few minutes of WhatsApp that's it.I have a good 5G network reception. Till 5pm I've only 25% charge left on my phone battery never gets hot or while charging it also stays cool still this issue came up is there any solution?

LongPhan_ use battery guru app to see which app on your phone is causing this drain

I don’t think I see background apps in the batteryguru… no way I’m usimg 5mAh overnight but battery level is reduced by 5%.

Btw that’s like the discharge speed of my Galaxy S20+ that was passed down from my uncle to my grandma to me.

So I just did a comparison and idle drain of my new phone is more than my approximately 4 years old S20+ smaller cell. 8% vs 6%. I’ve tried my best to have both phones running the same essential background services.

After the latest update which was somewhere around 30mb, my phone 2a charging speed decreased rapidly and battery drain has increased drastically. Nothing fix it the next update

After the last month update my 2a is draining battery , i have closed all background running apps and their permissions still it drain 10% to 15% at night without any use .

So I have been noticing this battery drain issue of nothing phone 2a during night form a long time , but last Night it went form 52 % to 20 % to be exact , and also there were no running applications in background. So it felt concerning 😟

Battery in nothing phone 2 is getting drained out very fast i have to charge my phone twice a day. This is major issue which i m facing. When we will get the new update to fix this issue.

When I bought the Nothing Phone 2a four months ago, the battery used to last well. But ever since the OS 3.0 update came to the Nothing Phone 2a, I’ve been facing a battery drain issue. Even when I don’t use the phone at all, the battery still drains automatically.

I noticed onething that my (2a) drains 1-2% of charge at night when my phone is fully charged (100%) without any use , but in day time once I started using , it drains at higher speed . The june update didn’t fix this problem , it’s mentioned in the update that somehow WIFi is draining battery so please fix this issue it’s really frustrating.
