Such a great investigative job @Dominic! If I ever need a PI, I’ll hire you and your friend. 😛
I’ve always struggled with fonts. When doing assignments or having to create a title, a signature or similar, I always faced the same infinite wall: scrolling through tedious lists of fonts to end up using Times New Roman or the one that was already predefined.
Then some time ago I found one called Adobe Caslon Pro and I stuck with it, until I had a tiny lesson from a design teacher, about fonts and how it is more appropriate to use and combine them.
Back to Nothing: since I discovered the logo and the font used here in the forums, I thought that it is the perfect choice; it has personality without being intrusive, it’s recognizable and it has the potential to be, maybe in the future, iconic.
It would be really interesting if we could have the designer(s)/mind(s) behind the typeface explaining the process of creating it, where the idea started, how they developed it, and other insights. 🤓
