When you say that Nothing Phone 2 performance is decreased significantly please explain? I have the NP2 with OS 2.5.5 I run two sim cards most of the time, I use a 3rd party dialing app in fact it’s our app called N Dial I use 3rd party media apps and gallery apps, WhatsApp and Signal Messnager apps always running in the background. Im connected to 5G mobile network 98% of the time plus I use my NP2 hotspot to share its connection to my other devices. While Im at home its hotspot connection is shared to 4 devices all the time likewise when I’m out and about its shared to 1 device. To many people are blaming Nothing for poor performance with there device, yes Nothing need to improve on certain aspect but one needs to learn how to use Android to its full potential. I personally don’t have a bad performance issues with my NP2 but what I do have an issues with is Google apps which are default system apps which I don’t use or never will, like Photos, Map’s and a few more. Basically there’s way to increase a devices performance disabling auto run app, auto updates, screen brightness, what you allow to connect to the outside world. Yes your personal device performs may well have dropped off big time compared to when you first had the device.
At least give evidence of your lack in performance with NOS and NP2.
Most often or not we hear of those individuals suffering poor performance or with related issues with their phones / devices but we very really hear from the mass of user’s that are totally happy or not experiencing problems, posted on the net because more often their happy so no reason to post.
Just my 10 cents worth all I’m saying is look at the bigger pictures check your setting uninstall apps you dont need, disable system apps you dont use (but know which system apps to disable as this could have a impact in the running of your OS).
