MarkFrancis No that’s a me problem😂 I’ll explain how the app works so every can understand: when you select a contact the relative contact ID generated by android is saved in a file. Each time a notification is received the app scans the sender’s name which is used to retrieve the contact ID and then, if a match is found in the file, the corresponding glyph is light up. It’s not the best approach, to make it better i would need to modify the OS itself since i cannot directly access conversations but just notifications.
Anyway the problem you are facing is easy to fix, right now i have a list of apps that are considered messaging apps and for them the process i explained above applies. The app you mentioned is outside the list so i just need to insert it.
Doug T. yes, that’s an old post. You don’t need to open the app ever, just the first time you install it😉
