I also got the same problem, its manufacturing defect and Nothing doesn’t really care about it, this is the problem in indian version more than the international version as per my observation they have used cheap quality screen in india.

I also talked to the customer support and also went to service center but they doesn’t even count this as a problem they simply refused to raise a complaint over it.

Yes, I have exactly the same. Thought it was me not applying the protectors correctly. Wasted €30 in glass protectors already.. oi..

Even I have same issue, after applying couple of tampered glasses and bubbles at same place. I observe that screen is not flat at edges which is why bubbles seem to happen.

Nothing team please respond over this issue asap…

In my nothing phone 2 also I am having the same issue first I thought I’d would be due to temper so I replaced many tempers glass but the issue still retained special when I keep it In my pant pockets and I take It out the temper glass was filled by air bubbles on both sides,( left side is more) and when I press the center of the screen the sides of the temper glass starts to fill with bubbles. If any one got the solution of the issue please poste it in the community

I discovered yesterday, that I am also affected with this issues on my new nothing 2a 256 gb variant. ☹

Also I heard that this issues is only coming with 256 GB variant - is it true, is there anyone having the same issue with 128 GB Nothing 2a variants?

Can anyone please suggest what could be the solution of this issue?

(25 April 2024) Exactly the same issue. 8 bubbles on the right hand side. Did you get any solution at all? The service center told me that I should try the “official” screen protector and it should solve the problem. Reading this forum, seems like it won’t solve the issue either. This is totally shocking, after spending so much money on a brand which considers itself premium. Hell!

(26 April 2024) Guys, I got the solution! If you have bubbles being formed on either side of the screen, apply Trink membrane sheet(available at some mobile shops) which is customized for your phone. It’s available in Matt or Gloss finish.

I applied it today and the results were excellent! No bubbles at all. It’s around 200-300 bucks only.

Just recieved my phone yesterday and this problem came up while applying new screen protector… Changed the screen protector 3 times from different shops, but still this issue is there, What should I do, Can I replace my unit, because it is still under 7 Days Return/Replace period from service center (As stated by Flipkart)

Abhinav They cleverly stop selling the official screen protector after this blunder. Get your product replaced. Stop wasting money on tempered glass and instead buy a digital caliper and challenge them in court.

totalsandy they are still selling it on flipkart. it just does not come up if you search nothing 2a tempered glass. it comes up when you search “nothing”. also yesterday, i found out that it is not only me who is suffering from this problem on reddit. i talked to customer care, i also went to the service centre where Anurag told me that this is not a problem, the screen is built like that. you are using local tempered glass. just buy nothing’s official tempered glass from nothing’s website or flipkart’s website. if the issue still persists, come to us again with the receipt of that tempered glass and then we will process your request. they have dumb reasons bro. it is my phone and i will apply anything i want on it. you can’t force me to use your product. i said them both on the call and when i was physically available at that customer care that if the issue persists, will you or your company refund my 600 rupees? they said no. this has become a serious problem. i’m gonna tweet it. please support. i’ll reply the link to my tweet when i do it.

totalsandy i can confirm. I have 2a and there’s the same problem. I have bubbles on the edges. It’s like the glass is wobbly or something.
