We started our audio journey at Nothing by launching Ear (1) back in 2021; the device that showcased to the world our intent to build a brand on differentiated design. After seeing the popularity of our debut product, we got to work expanding our audio suite with Ear (stick) in 2022 and then Ear (2) in 2023. As the size of our company grew, so did our team’s capabilities and the resources available to us, meaning each new audio launch has come with big technical improvements.
With 3 and half years of feedback and learnings, 2024 is the year we’re truly going all in on audio.
Nothing has always viewed the audio product category as highly personal - everyone hears differently and has unique expectations from their devices. As a company that places its community at its core, we define premium as a balance of preference vs price.

Changing the Game and the Name
Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) are a reset in naming and product standards. We’re excited to be offering the premium flagship wireless audio experience we’ve strived to deliver from the start.
In this seemingly endless specs race, we’re stripping back the numbers from our audio product names to simplify the process of finding the earbuds that are right for you. Our devices are built to last so we recommend identifying what matters to you in an audio product and starting from there. No nomenclature-based upgrades.
