Idk if this has been reported yet, but i get random battery notifications for my Ear 1s when Iā€™m connected listening to music or talking on the phone. The notification makes my phone vibrate. Idk why the notification pops up. I donā€™t disconnect or anything like that. The music plays the way it should. But my phone will vibrate and show me the battery info. Iā€™ve tested this on all my devices and it happens on all of them. Iā€™ve attached a screen shot showing the notification on the top of the screen. This actually happened as I was scrolling through this thread.

Thanks for reporting it Antonio_Luis

Iā€™ll forward your comments and screenshots to our teams so that we can look into it further. šŸ‘ļø

[unknown] Im trying to figure out what prompts the notification. It seems to just be random to me. Iā€™ll pay more attention to it today to see if I can narrow it down.

6 days later

Weird issue over the last 2 days, Iā€™ve noticed a disparity in the earbud performance.

The right ear bud sounds far more ā€œpressurizedā€ in my ear, uncomfortably so, with no apparent changes (i.e. ear bud tips are the same and have been since I received them). Additionally, the right ear bud is also far quieter than the left, meaning the total produced sound feels really unbalanced.

Has anyone else had any issues/experience? I am going to attempt a factory reset and see how it performs following that

One more product update that could be included

    1. Battery percentage of the case is not visible once we remove the ear 1 from the case.

Ideally we should be able to see the battery percentage of the case everything so that we get an idea that the charging in the case is about to be finished.

This can be achieved by asking the tech team to store the battery percentage data in the app when earbuds are taken out so that it doesnā€™t to bluetooth connection with the ear1 case.

Do let me know what you think of the suggestion

Facing a critical bug since couple days.

      1. Left bud isnā€™t charging (case light turns on when I insert it).

      2. When I insert both buds and close the lid, I can still see the left bud connected in the app

Hi Dylan_B thanks for reporting it here too. Itā€™s very useful for others in the community. Keep us posted on the outcome. šŸ§žā€ā™‚ļø

MuditMittal feedback noted and forwarded to our teams, thanks again! šŸ‘

specbug you may need to contact our support team for that, it looks like a hardware issue. If confirmed, you should be getting a replacement from us. šŸ˜‰

Hi Rudi, Thanks for reaching out!

Iā€™m glad to report Iā€™m in the process of a replacement under warranty, Iā€™m excited to receive a pair back and keep this relationship growing! šŸ˜€

          Thanks!

            Hey @Rudi,

Regarding the new update (that you posted here) I wanted to report some unexpected pausing of music playing on Spotify that I havenā€™t experienced before. So far, in the last hour or two, Iā€™ve had at least 3 occasions sitting perfectly still in front of my computer doing some stuff where the sound was paused for no apparent reason while not doing anything on my phone (locked and the screen was black), not even any external force or touch involved that could have caused this.

I yet havenā€™t tried some other app than Spotify so we cannot for sure know if this has to do with their latest updates or not, but will try some other apps and keep you posted if I experience this outside the Spotify app as well. The last Spotify update was 1 week ago, and from that point in time until the latest Ear(1) firmware update I havenā€™t had any trouble with unexpected pausing - until the firmware update (I believe) was put in place!

Iā€™m running firmware 0.6700.1.81 which I believe is the latest one available. Correct me if Iā€™m not on the latest firmware update, but I dontā€™ seem to be able to update the firmware from the app (so I guess Iā€™m running the latest one).

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Hey there. Iā€™ve only had my black ear 1 for 1.5 days and I am seeing a battery discrepancy between the left and the right too.

Looking back through the posts it seems this has been an issue in this forum since August and there has been firmware updates to address, but it seems this is still W.I.P

I hope I donā€™t have a hardware issue but not discounting that yet .

Dylan_B Received my replacement pair! Really happy to report theyā€™re all working, but noticed subtle differences, my hinge feels more ā€œinsetā€. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a crack in the bottom right (as you look at it) - I will reach out to customer support to notify them, but has anyone else seen something similar?

                (I cannot upload a photo? - Any help @Rudi ?)

                  Hey Dylan_B
Happy to hear that youā€™ve received your replacement but sorry to hear about the crack, thatā€™s quite odd. About uploading a pic, are you getting an error message? Let me know a bit more so that I can find out exactly whatā€™s going on. šŸ‘ļø

                  Hi there ken_k
Thanks for reaching out here to get some help. The battery discrepancy could actually indicate a known fault, related to hardware. Rest assured, you should be contacting our support team and theyā€™ll be sorting that out for you. While youā€™re here, I invite you to check our other threads, to leave your contribution. šŸ˜„

Hi FilipJacobson that version isnā€™t our latest FW yet - itā€™s rolling out quite slowly, I must say. So please keep an eye for when it drops and let me know how the buds perform once youā€™ve installed it. šŸ™

Rudi Hey Rudi- thanks for your response. I contacted the support team over the weekend, so hopefully I will hear from them this week. Have to say a sigh of relief that it is a known problem and something that can (hopefully) be done to deal with it šŸ‘

Rudi Hey! Thanks for your reply, Iā€™m struggling to upload the photo and recieving an error message, if I try though the picture button, it asks for a link, which doesnā€™t actually upload when I attempt to!

Iā€™ve emailed CS and attached an image there šŸ™‚

                      Hey Dylan_B
Thanks for getting back to me. Iā€™ve been unable to reproduce the upload issue, mine here works fine.
Could you please try clearing your browserā€™s cache + cookies to see if it helps?
No need to report community-platform issues to our CS team, they wonā€™t do anything rather than let me know. Itā€™s always best to report directly to moi. šŸ˜„

Rudi Hey! - Iā€™ve tried clearing my cache, I was more reporting the Hinge Crack issue to CS, thatā€™s the image Iā€™m trying to upload šŸ™‚ Lets see if this works

I still donā€™t see a pic attached Dylan_B but when I got the notification of your post via email, I could see there was something else. Could you please try with another browser?

Hey @Rudi just to add that I experienced a similar bug today (Version 1.1.0).

I went for a run this morning and had my music randomly pause a few times. I was able to start again by using touch controls to play, but not sure as to why it was pausing šŸ¤”
