This has happened to me on consecutive days, twice wherein my watch pro 2 has automatically reset itself
1st time- I pulled down the control center and the watch froze, didn’t wake up no matter what I did and even from the app couldn’t do anything. The heartrate sensor was on though. I pushed and held down the crown and then the watch rebooted, all the data, watch faces, contacts, everything was gone. It was still connected to my phone but in the app all health tracking for the day was gone and the settings were reset
2nd time- It happened the next day from the first incident. I opened up the app in my phone to look at the serial number to copy and send it to the CMF support team after yesterday’s issue. In the app, the serial number was blank so I raised my arm up to look for it from the settings from the watch, Bam! The watch didn’t respond for about 2 seconds and then turned on, it had reset itself and was back to the original animated watch face with all my data gone again. It didn’t reboot, vibrate, nor did I hold the crown this time.
I’m currently waiting for a response from the CMF support team and was wondering if there’s any fix that other people have found. I’m not the only person facing this issue as I’ve seen countless same examples on Reddit dating from since the release of this watch. Will this ever get fixed? I’m on the latest software version V1.0.0.65
