Seeing all these posts on this thread is good, but honestly, I stopped reading because everyone’s just repeating themselves. Here I go though, adding to it: If you can afford a phone, you can afford this app. And it’s quite ridiculous that anyone’s asking for discounts on this already affordable app. What would a discount even look like? Would the developer pay you to use it?
I was reading an article about the community edition phone when I saw that a member of our community has busted their arse creating an app and is asking for absolutely nothing in return. Initially, when I saw the first comment about the price, I thought, “Oh god, they’re charging like £20 or something.” But it was way cheaper. I thought it must be a joke, but nope. Anyone complaining about the price, you’re the joke. Get a grip.
Congratulations are in order for the developer! I’m looking forward to a lot of fun tinkering with it later. It’s great to see someone with so much passion putting something out there. Well done, I’m interested to see what you do next.
Also…..
And sorry if someone has already said this and sorry if I could have put this in a private message but I’m not sure how to do that so I hope this is okay…
There are a couple of typos in this section so this is the corrected version and with what was wrong and then underneath that I’ve just put a clearer explanation if you wanted to use that I’m so sorry for being a Monica Gellar about this, but I would want to know myself so I hope I’m not offending you.
Here you can map any Glyph zone as an Essential notification: tap on a Glyph zone, select contact(s) and/or app(s) and every time you get a notification from that contact/app(s) the Glyph will stay on until you swipe or answer the notification. In order to spare battery, dynamic animations will be played for 7 minutes and after that, they will default to the static effect.
To achieve this, you need to allow Glyphify to read your notifications and to read your contacts; this information won’t be collected or shared by Glyphify and will just be used to turn on the chosen Glyph zone.
Identified Mistakes
1. “one” should be “on” in the phrase “turn one the chosen Glyph zone.”
2. “these information” should be “this information.”
A clearer explanation? =
Here’s how you can configure any Glyph zone as an Essential notification: Select a Glyph zone, choose the relevant contact(s) and/or app(s), and every time you receive a notification from them, the Glyph will remain active until you swipe or respond to the notification. To conserve battery life, dynamic animations will run for 7 minutes before switching to a static effect.
Please allow Glyphify to access your notifications and contacts to enable this feature. Rest assured, your information will not be collected or shared by Glyphify; it will only be used to activate the selected Glyph zone.
