Just bought the app man, what a great work! excited to see what this app can bring in the future.

Fr4nKB As far as I can tell the SDK should already be compatible with the Phone (2a) and Phone (2a) Plus - at least according to the two most recent commits on their GitHub repo:

I now have a Phone (2a) Plus if you need someone to test.

Wonderful application. Thank you so much for making this and I hope Nothing supports you. It is indeed disappointing how much they dropped the ball on the glyphs and i’m so thankful to you for picking it up. Equally surprised at the lot that can afford any of these phones but can’t cough up this little for the app developer.

I had a few requests and suggestions to make if you feel like these can be incorporated.

      1. I love the battery alarm but would like to be able to dismiss it should I want to charge further. At the moment, it keeps alerting me every few minutes. Is there a way around this?
      2. Would it be at all possible to take application notifications one step forward? Say limit WhatsApp / Signal to a specific feature (such as calls) or alerts from specific individuals only. I would find that incredibly useful
      3. Finally, when the phone is charging, could the glyph remain on? The native interface charging meter needs a wiggle which I find quite useless.

      Thanks once again!

        Rahul Thank you, much appreciated!

SebiAi I saw those commits but still the sdk wasn’t updated to reflect the readme changes and users with (2a) Plus have reported the app not working yet. Do other Glyph apps work with (2a) Plus?

Snake Thank you! These are some good ideas, I’ll try to implement them when I have time😉 As for stopping the alarm, no there isn’t a way outside of disconnecting the phone from charge or disabling the feature all together (also low battery alarm doesn’t stop when the phone is connected to charge, this will be fixed)

          @Fr4nKB

I don’t know if it’s only happening on my device but the glyphify app doesn’t auto start after the sleep timer(bedtime timer)has ended.

I have set the timer from 21:00 to 7:00 and after 7am the app doesn’t auto start. Either the app takes hours to automatically start or I have to manually open the app. (I have disabled battery restrictions and given all the required permissions so that couldn’t be an issue)

          Anyways loving the app!

VrioluEadex I had the same problem for a while, but since I downloaded the beta it seems to be working fine

              VrioluEadex

              Huzi

Next beta update should make this even better😉

I’m hoping to publish it in the stable channel soon

Seeing all these posts on this thread is good, but honestly, I stopped reading because everyone’s just repeating themselves. Here I go though, adding to it: If you can afford a phone, you can afford this app. And it’s quite ridiculous that anyone’s asking for discounts on this already affordable app. What would a discount even look like? Would the developer pay you to use it?

I was reading an article about the community edition phone when I saw that a member of our community has busted their arse creating an app and is asking for absolutely nothing in return. Initially, when I saw the first comment about the price, I thought, “Oh god, they’re charging like £20 or something.” But it was way cheaper. I thought it must be a joke, but nope. Anyone complaining about the price, you’re the joke. Get a grip.

Congratulations are in order for the developer! I’m looking forward to a lot of fun tinkering with it later. It’s great to see someone with so much passion putting something out there. Well done, I’m interested to see what you do next.

                Also…..

And sorry if someone has already said this and sorry if I could have put this in a private message but I’m not sure how to do that so I hope this is okay…

There are a couple of typos in this section so this is the corrected version and with what was wrong and then underneath that I’ve just put a clearer explanation if you wanted to use that I’m so sorry for being a Monica Gellar about this, but I would want to know myself so I hope I’m not offending you.

Here you can map any Glyph zone as an Essential notification: tap on a Glyph zone, select contact(s) and/or app(s) and every time you get a notification from that contact/app(s) the Glyph will stay on until you swipe or answer the notification. In order to spare battery, dynamic animations will be played for 7 minutes and after that, they will default to the static effect.

To achieve this, you need to allow Glyphify to read your notifications and to read your contacts; this information won’t be collected or shared by Glyphify and will just be used to turn on the chosen Glyph zone.

                Identified Mistakes

                1. “one” should be “on” in the phrase “turn one the chosen Glyph zone.”

                2. “these information” should be “this information.”

                A clearer explanation? =

Here’s how you can configure any Glyph zone as an Essential notification: Select a Glyph zone, choose the relevant contact(s) and/or app(s), and every time you receive a notification from them, the Glyph will remain active until you swipe or respond to the notification. To conserve battery life, dynamic animations will run for 7 minutes before switching to a static effect.

Please allow Glyphify to access your notifications and contacts to enable this feature. Rest assured, your information will not be collected or shared by Glyphify; it will only be used to activate the selected Glyph zone.

Fr4nKB There is actually a solution for this charging alarm thing. We can make the audio loop configurable. So that it only plays for the set number of times..I hope I’m making sense here 😅😅.

Also, if you can have a look at one thing, when I turn off the charging alarm, it resets to 80% rather than my set value when I turn it back on. It’ll be really cool if it could stay at the user set value even after toggling 😁

Fr4nKB bought it,but there are many bugs and also the app doesn’t let you delete a glyph studio single record and the automatic glyph is also not so accurate, pls developer if you are charging money then please make like a perfect app!!

                    SaunavDas

Care to explain these many bugs?

You can delete everything by the way…

If you’re not satisfied you can refund, the price is small and I’m not doing this as a job so the time to “make it perfect” is not really there😉

SaunavDas Hey man, don’t act ungrateful. The developer never asked you to buy the app, it was your sole decision to do it. He does have the V1 available for free on GitHub, if you do not want to buy the app use that.

At most, what you can do is “Request” the developer to add/improve something (it is still up to him if he does that or not.)

It is better to just get a refund if you don’t like the app, rather than asking the developer to make it “Perfect!”
