KAJITHARAN_KJ_ Yes, It provides a maximum playback time of 2 to 2.5 hours when fully charged, significantly lower than the claimed 6 to 7 hours.
Very disappointed.

SubrahmanyaHegde Hey mate,
One draining faster the other is normal. When earbuds use a master-slave connection, one earbud (the master) is responsible for handling the primary tasks, such as connecting to the device and transmitting audio signals to the other earbud (the slave). This extra workload causes the master earbud to consume more battery, leading to faster drain compared to the slave earbud, which primarily receives audio signals.
To your point regarding them not charging to 100%. I’d suggest logging a support case. Go to your Nothing X app, click the menu button and click support, then provide all the context you have including any troubleshooting steps you’ve taken.
SubrahmanyaHegde yeah it very disappointed because it happened within two months SubrahmanyaHegde
hrry Hey, Thanks for the reply. Previous to these Nothing buds, I have used Samsung buds for more than 3 years, I have never noticed any of these issues.
I contacted the support, they told to me to visit the service centre.
SubrahmanyaHegde yeah but I can’t find why it’s happening it’s a software bug or battery problem because before I get 5 to 6( 50% volume )hours payback sadly srilanka don’t have nothing services centre
SubrahmanyaHegde yeah I also have this issue
I started experiencing it from the first week, sometimes even after they’ve been in the case one of the buds would be really low whole the other is full. The most annoying is when one Bud just doesn’t connect or come, and it takes about 20 tries to get it to work, sometimes it’s the left bud and sometimes the right.
KelvinEdimeh vojt_ch_t_rba Thanks for the reply.
What do you think, is it Hardware issue or Software issue? Could it be fixed in coming updates or repair/replacement required?
Yes, I am also facing the same problem the left bud is draining 40% faster than the right bud @nothing-earbuds
my buds anc on 50% volume Dirac mode and spacial audio on 15 listening a song after battery left 90 and right 95 it’s OK or it’s abnormal
SubrahmanyaHegde it’s. Definitely hardware
KelvinEdimeh what about my case
KAJITHARAN_KJ_ that’s within the normal range
KelvinEdimeh As you said, you are also experiencing the same issue, did you take this to service centre?
I’m planning to visit centre, if it’s a common problem with all the buds pro 2, then there is no point in taking this to service centre.
SubrahmanyaHegde I’m a Nigerian in Nigeria, no service centres here, same reason I haven’t been able to fix my Oneplus 9 screen
SubrahmanyaHegde mine stops at 90% and also discharges quicker than th right bud. This issue has persisted even after getting it replaced under warranty (replacement of entire set: case and both buds).
I’d assume it’s just a flaw in the product and not just an individual piece
It will get worst mine is 6months old and it’s 75% L and 90% R with runtime of 2.5 hrs. I really regret buying this the watch is fine it not perfect but never have this kind of issue.
yggdwasil Hey mate, I’d suggest contacting CMF Support if you’re experiencing such significant difference in drain. https://nothing.tech/pages/contact-support
