That’s not…how it works. There is no ‘universal update’ to be applied to all Nothing Phones. Each one has its context and its corresponding update. Just because one has 2.5.4 does not mean that this is the same update that the Phone (2) should receive.
In the case of the Phone (2a), it is a recently launched product with room for optimization, and new Nothing Phones usually receive 3-4 updates during the first 2 months after launch, so it’s currently on it’s own version (2.5.4) . It is even likely that it will get another update in the next month.
In the case of the Phone (1), it got 2.5.3 shortly after receiving Android 14 because this update (2.5.2) needed fixes for some issues.
When the Phone (2) gets its next update, it could be called 2.5.3, and that won’t mean that it is behind the Phone (2a), or it could be called 2.5.6 and that won’t mean that the other models are two or three updates behind.
