Anonymous192 Yes, that I fully agree with. Communication is always key, so it’s better to communicate with their community about it then it is to keep silent.

Hello guys,
Maybe is better waiting more for stability!

SiddheshShanbhag nothing will be fixed, it should have fixed earlier, now focus shifted to new phones, and soon np3 will arrive,
I am hoping the same, let’s see, if they will fix camera completely as sensor is so capable, then from next time I will by only nothing phones.

Till now no information regarding about the update delay. The January Security patch really messed up the device. Battery backup is not same like how it was before the update. Thermal management also became very bad. Even without using, the device is warm. From day 1 we Nothing Phone 2 users are pointing out the camera performance which is very bad, till now no response from the team. Earlier i was able to get more than 9hr sot, but now it got reduced to 6-8hr. After the January update i feels like brightness also decreased.
My sim stopped working and internet is not able active. The toggle for internet stays lit no matter what i do. My sim stopped working on this phone. Neither data is being activated.
It happened suddenly when i restarted my phone… i tried reset settings and changing sims and restarting phone again and again…but issue remains same.
Why nothing Team delay phone 2 update?
varun_vp_ What happens if you don’t get an update? Does your phone stop working?
KarlKeppler Like, it’s not like that ,but we have paid the price in double for a flagship device manh !!
and yet we need to see the lastest features and bug fixes in the last ,How thats seems fair manh !!
Well, we all know life isn’t fair right :-)
Did anyone who complain think that 2a has a different core? And possible some codes don’t have to be the same. Earlier I was angry, but it’s not a solution. Maybe our update would be more stable and full of bug fixed. Or some new fuctions. Let’s compare how many things be done in update on 1 and on 2a.
luke_lucky It’s simple. Nothing prioritized the advertised product. And this means one thing, in a year you can throw this phone in the trash, you can’t dream of long-term support for the device
KarlKeppler I paid 52,000 Thousand it’s Nearly iPhone 13’s cost . Lower segment phone got 2 updates but the flagship phone got Nothing.
Imagine after this long the update comes with the following changelog:
- Bug fixes, and performance improvement
- New recorder widget added
varun_vp_ My wife paid 1200€ for her Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is around 109000 converted I believe. That got it’s first update more than 6 weeks after it launched, while it has display and camera issues. The Galaxy A55, which is one third of the S24 Ultras price got its first updates 2 - 3 days after it launched. Moral of the story, pricing doesn’t matter at all when it comes to updates. A newly launched phone will always get priority over the existing models, no matter of it’s a flagship or a midranger. Didn’t your phone get more priority too when it first launched?
