      Updated to 2.5.5a two days ago and this is horrible: from 100% to 97% in 5 minutes with the screen on. It’s frustrating to be reading tweets or browsing websites and see the battery percentage dropping in real time.

      Definitely, if Nothing doesn’t do “nothing” to fix this big problem, I’ll have to return the unit. 🙁

      I have noticed significance drop battery efficiency after nothing os 2.5.5.a update. I am just losing 17 - 20 % battery even in standby.

      I don’t know whether facing the same but I hope this might be optimization bug and will be fixed soon.

        I have observed a very significant battery draining in nothing 2a since the update 2.5.5.b. Even I am not using my phone, my battery is draining very quickly without use.

        I am not quite sure what’s wrong with most people’s battery, mine seems to be fine on the latest NOS, I easily see 5+ sot per day with pretty intense usage

        Sure, I am mostly on WiFi but even on Mobile Data with 5G I get probably can easily get 4 hours (from 100%, given I am outside with the brightness quite increased)

        Things I use to save battery:

        - auto synch all applications in the background is OFF- wi-fi options

        • network preferences all OFF, I use wi fi 6 network router connection for maximum battery efficiency

        - most app notifications/glyph lighting. vibration exept SMS/phone ringtones are OFF

        - in security there is a something like google ad identifier for personal ads CANCEL or DELETE that

        - google app and chrome DISABLE all location usage by these app

        - update all apps

          Hi all, My Nothing 2A stops charging at 80% with a Type C to USB charger. How can this be corrected?
          Or should I look for a replace?

          I’m using nothing 2a since 2 months it’s drain battery very fast, today my battery dropped 17% only in standby mode (in my working place mobiles are not allowed for 10hours) in this time I didn’t even touch the mobile please fix battery drain issue

            @Nothing_2A - I bought the nothing phone 2a just two days ago. Initially, first day battery was good, but after updating to the latest software, I’m only getting around 5 hours of screen-on time, despite not playing games. It’s really disappointing. I’m considering selling it and getting the Moto Edge 50 Pro instead 🙏

              I just bought 2a several days ago and yes the battery drained too fast. I managed to get maximum 6-7 hours of SOT with VERY minimal setting turned on. I didn’t turn on mobile data, location, bluetooth etc. unless needed. Still, the battery drop 2-3% within an hour in idle mode, that was terrible. I bought this phone bc I read it has exceptional battery life but I’m disappointed

              I will check my idle battery drain with wi-fi, bluetooth smartwatch connected, no mobile data and just receving notifications. More than 60 minutes and during the night. Even if the battery drain is about 5% during the night it seems pretty high

              spellsaif same for me used 33 watt charger to charge the phone by Xiaomi with original cable in switch off condition but took 3 odd hours to charge the same
