before update 2.5.5 np2 shows 5g signal but after update its shows only 4g and sometimes 4g+

Exactly! Same issue I’m also facing after updating my phone 2 on OS 2.5.5.

No 5G signal in my phone after updation of operating system.

Prior to this update 5G signal on my phone was extremely good ( even better than Samsung galaxy S23 ultra).

Is this for Phone 2? I am facing this exact issue on Phone 2(a) some days after updating to 2.5.4(a) update. And I found some others users with this issue as well on reddit, I thought its a manufacturing issue with the device. But if its happening with Phone 2 as well after an update then it could be a software issue with Nothing OS.

Well I use a Jio sim I am actually getting 5G+ on my Nothing Phone (2), even after i updated it to the 2.5.5 NothingOS. Only thing I think about the 5G on my phone (2) is that it overheat and drains my battery when I am using 5G

I am jio user and facing the same issue it’s really frustrating it’s only getting 4g even after I did network settings and APN reset

I’m a Jio user, and on the contrary after the update, I get 5G++ (double)…and the speed is fantastic. Could be also due to Jio offering True 5G free of charge, with unlimited data download.

I ported my number from Airtel to jio a month ago

After which I got an update nothing is version 2 .6 after that my jio network is not good I can’t call some one or i am not receiving call from other person but this problem is not all the time it comes 2 to 3 time a day and daily I face this problem

And if I put my phone in aeroplane mode and on then the network is good or else sometimes I need to restart my phone to solve this issue

Exactly the same problem on Phone (1), I am at China and using carrier China Unicom, after 2.6 (September patch), 5G is not working. As many LTE stations has upgraded to 5G, I can sometimes get very slow Internet or no signal at all. Revert to 2.5.6 via fastboot fixes this problem.

I think the issue is inconsistent 5G network. I have phone 1 , when I switched to 5G it worked then went to 4g and 5g back and forth. you can force your phone just to take 5g so you will have 5g all time.
