Rob ⚡️ i like the trasparent design of the ear case and the upgrade to ceramic driver♥️

Rob ⚡️ I’m such a non-expert on electronics engineering, so I’m just amazed to see from the teardown how many components fit into such tiny, light earbuds! Also crazy how the tiny batteries can give that much battery life…!

Rob ⚡️

I shall appreciate the whole engineer team involved in the production of nothing ear.

I liked the transparent stem which stormed the whole internet because of this unique idea.

Rob ⚡️ Earbud Stem is one of the best innovation by nothing. The craftsmanship, engineering and designing of the stem makes the nothing ear different from other TWS available in the market. The transparency adds the OOMPH factor to the nothing ear and makes completely stand out in the market. it’s one of the million design which makes it UNIQUE.

Nothing stands out with its products in such a beautiful way from the rest of the tech world. A teardown like this shows it once again.

Not many manufacturers put so much effort into the appearance of the internals. And even fewer put so much love into the documentation of it.

I don’t understand much about mechanical engineering, but I do have a good sense of design. And your externals and internals are truly outstanding. Seeing how you proudly showcase a teardown to your community with so much love shows how you really care about your products.

Your transparency is unique in the tech world. (Pun not intended.)

Rob ⚡️

I really love the Design of the earbuds and i think it looks even better from the inside. I am absolutely flashed about the fact that there is sooo much stuff inside, i thougt is was a lot less because the earbuds are so tiny. Big congrats to the Team, cause they didnt only build something looking great from the outside but also from the inside. I am excited to see how Nothing will evolve in the Future. Best wishes from Austria

Rob ⚡️ Just got the nothing phone 2a and loving it so far, would love to have this paired with it! Cheers!

Nothing ear went under the radar of most reviewers but ear(a) got the spotlight. Maybe it was the naming, but ear(a) color and the new case stands out. Maybe pushing the ear as the 3rd generation in its description could have boosted it’s awareness around people and reviewers.

As a wannabe computer engineer myself, I loved seeing how small the mic was in these earbuds, while still having amazing sound quality. It just shows how far in technology our society has advanced!

Another component that made me appreciate the engineering was the pressure/touch sensor. I’ve always wanted to know how touch controls worked, because I knew it wasn’t a touchscreen or anything.

And yet another component was the ceramic driver. Most earbud and headphone drivers are made of magnets and conductors, so it was very intriguing to learn that the Nothing Ear’s drivers were made out of ceramic!

inside the left ear the components are so amazing they did a great job we really have to appreciate that.i recently bought nothing 2a in india which is awesome by the clear back panel we have to know that how good nothing is.

Aura1408 One great things about building an tws ear buds, i really like how R&D managed to stack the components without any mark of adhesive as most of the earbuds are not transparent so it’s easy for them to hide it. But Nothing ear has this really cool design by standing out as a symbol of uniqueness. Cheers 🥂

I was particularly impressed by the transparent stem shell. It allows for a clear view of the internal components, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail from both the design and engineering teams, making the earbuds visually striking and unique. From a technical and performance standpoint, I don’t have the expertise to comment 🤭

Rob ⚡️ the design of the pcba looks damn good and the way that the batteries have been fitted in each earbud looks so good that it made me love the teardown + special mention to the mic which looks kinda cool

I like the Elements of the Earbud Stem and the fact that you can see through the stem. It gives a nice cyberpunk touch to the design. Can’t wait to try them!

The AI reduction system. We can’t still imagine what we could do in the future with these technologies.

Rob ⚡️ If you ask about like what part was my favourite or I appreciate, then I would say, the whole damn thing, not for the sake of winning or something. I mean look at this bro how small things are getting.

And if I had to choose a specific part that I liked then I would choose a Flexible Printed Circuit, because I made a presentation on this project during my UG [ it was terrible, to be honest].

But the part I really loved about this Circuit is that we are working at such a small level and this is just the beginning. I mean, look at the freaking Neuralink. I’m a little excited to be 60-65 years old so that I can experience more new technology like space tourism [as if I can afford one lol] {sorry for getting off topic}.😂

Rob ⚡️ I love the ear case because of the simple design. Also that red dot makes it better somehow lol

Rob ⚡️ I appreciate the Nothing Engineering Team for the case design because it’s very difficult to maintain the original design while improving both its appearance and functionality. I am also an architect, and I deeply understand how difficult the renovation process can be.

I find it interesting how the diaphragm is ceramic. From what I know, ceramic materials are very rigid, so very surprising to see being used in an earphone diaphragm that vibrates thousands of time a second.

Also interesting to see how you guys increased battery by roughly 50%, yet almost twice the playtime with anc compared to ear 2, which I currently have
