Aura1408 One great things about building an tws ear buds, i really like how R&D managed to stack the components without any mark of adhesive as most of the earbuds are not transparent so it’s easy for them to hide it. But Nothing ear has this really cool design by standing out as a symbol of uniqueness. Cheers 🥂

I was particularly impressed by the transparent stem shell. It allows for a clear view of the internal components, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail from both the design and engineering teams, making the earbuds visually striking and unique. From a technical and performance standpoint, I don’t have the expertise to comment 🤭

Rob ⚡️ the design of the pcba looks damn good and the way that the batteries have been fitted in each earbud looks so good that it made me love the teardown + special mention to the mic which looks kinda cool

I like the Elements of the Earbud Stem and the fact that you can see through the stem. It gives a nice cyberpunk touch to the design. Can’t wait to try them!

The AI reduction system. We can’t still imagine what we could do in the future with these technologies.

Rob ⚡️ If you ask about like what part was my favourite or I appreciate, then I would say, the whole damn thing, not for the sake of winning or something. I mean look at this bro how small things are getting.

And if I had to choose a specific part that I liked then I would choose a Flexible Printed Circuit, because I made a presentation on this project during my UG [ it was terrible, to be honest].

But the part I really loved about this Circuit is that we are working at such a small level and this is just the beginning. I mean, look at the freaking Neuralink. I’m a little excited to be 60-65 years old so that I can experience more new technology like space tourism [as if I can afford one lol] {sorry for getting off topic}.😂

Rob ⚡️ I love the ear case because of the simple design. Also that red dot makes it better somehow lol

Rob ⚡️ I appreciate the Nothing Engineering Team for the case design because it’s very difficult to maintain the original design while improving both its appearance and functionality. I am also an architect, and I deeply understand how difficult the renovation process can be.

I find it interesting how the diaphragm is ceramic. From what I know, ceramic materials are very rigid, so very surprising to see being used in an earphone diaphragm that vibrates thousands of time a second.

Also interesting to see how you guys increased battery by roughly 50%, yet almost twice the playtime with anc compared to ear 2, which I currently have

I’m super impressed by the new ceramic driver. The fact that it’s rarely used and offers such clear highs makes these earbuds stand out. Can’t wait to experience this sound quality firsthand once i win this 🙂 ! 🎵

The wireless charge coil in the case is a game-changer. It’s incredible how it fits into the sleek case design and adds so much convenience. Can’t wait to try it out! 🔄

For me it has to be the case. I don’t know why, but the fact that that little board is just hidden inside that beautiful and sleek design just amazes me. LOVE THEM

Just the amount of tech that goes into each bud no wonder they sound great.

I appreciate Nothing Engineers for having a neat and simple design without having much complexities. It is good to see a unique design among competitors in the market. Now many buyers consider this tws too because of this unique design. It’s difficult to maintain the original design from the beginning for this nothing really needs applause.

like i pcb of the teardown and the case itself is the best I’ve seen personally seek and minimal eye catcher

i loved the inside of the left ear, especially the flexible printed circuit (FPC). The intricate folding and connections really show off the engineering

I like the transparent design and the small PCB in earbuds. I’m surprised by battery shape. One other interesting thing is the coil of wireless charge of the cover

Rob ⚡️

From someone who prefers stem-style earbuds, I was in love with the transparent design of the Nothing Ear as it has been a one-of-a-kind design since the inception of the Ear(1). Being able to display the interior components of the earbud stem may look simple, but the Nothing team (you guys!) did an amazing job to make the earbuds not only compact but look good as well. The teardown of the earbud stem made me appreciate the thought process going into crafting the design and shape of the Nothing Ear.
