Rob my favorite part is the earbud PCBs. The detail is incredible. Never thought I would get excited about some PCBs
Nothing Ear Teardown
Rob
The part of the disassembly that made me most appreciate the engineering of the Nothing Ear was being able to see the PCBAs more closely, in addition to the Circular Earbud Components, since I have always been curious to see the batteries of these headphones.
The part with I was really amazed, Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC).
I loved below 3 features
1) Wireless Charging : Convenient charging without the need for cables.
2) Transparent Design : Combines aesthetic appeal with engineering precision.
3) Automatically plays or pauses audio when you put on or take off the earbuds.
from above features the most loved feature is wireless charging
Rob Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC)
Rob I would have never believed if someone told me that a thing lighter than a coin could fit this much stuff and can be carried on just one ear with giving one of the best audio quality tech. I want to see a whole teardown video, hope someone has done it already. Impressive. Really Impressive.
Nothing transperant design always look unique
One of my friend using Nothing Ear a he also impressed with battery life and transperancy
This part I like about Nothing Ear their large size, the earbud FPCs intricately fold into the housing of each earbud, bridging all of the components such as the batteries and drivers to the main PCBA.

I really appreciate the engineering which had to be done so that the earbuds look the way they look now.
The transparent style is just beautiful and stands out.
Thanks Nothing
Rob the pressure touch sensor. Despite of the small area, the touch responsiveness is far better and the engineering team makes it feel worthy
Rob Case PCBA
The ceramic driver, the airflows and obviously the general design
Definetly the 11mm ceramic driver and the air vents made me appreciate this ear more
From where I come these earbuds/headphones can go up to 500 bucks and nothing just releases its earphones that manage to hit the quality of sound while keeping it at a budget friendly cost. Plus the air vents, I got like an ear problem where they sweat so much and these air vents kinda just kill that problem
Rob Inside of the left ear
The fact that I’ve never seen the inside of an earpiece like this before is interesting to me. And then the fact that so much fits into that small physical size, how cleverly designed it is. I love the design of the earphones , I really want one for my nothing phone. And it’s nice that they take background sound cancellation so seriously. Congrat Nothing team!!

Natalie that shows the real size of the components?… No way .. They look quite big in the photo and makes one forget how small they are. Awesome
Rob I currently own a Nothing ear (2) and a phone(1). I always admire the look of both the products but my ear case is covered in scratches right now. I love you see the engineering inside the ear buds through the transparent shell and I love it but I never thought that even a small earbuds can contain so much of hardware inside.
The wireless charging is a game changer since the first release of Nothing Ear (1), didn’t expect to also have a charging coil in a TWS tbh
