I have always loved transparent tech, and these kinda teardowns showcasing everything that comes together cohesively to make a product that we use everyday, kinda like Legos.
My collection of transparent products so far, not much yet but WIP
And seeing such a teardown and learning bout a product from a company’s design I love was such a pleasant read. It was hard to choose which was my favourite bit, was it the FPC that’s so intricately folds into such a tiny device, or was it the 11mm driver since sound quality is my main priority, or the case PCBA which looks almost like a spaceship or the wireless charge coil which always looks cool or the outer transparent elements of the case and the buds which are one of the main reasons I love Nothing products. There’s also a component that instantly resembled something funny- the unnamed circuit component in “Insider the Ear Case” section which looks like this emoji- 🤷♂️
I appreciate all parts involved in the product cause even if they are hidden, they look beautiful. As they say, true beauty is in the inside, and that’s true with many transparent products, but with nothing, both the outside and the inside and everything in between is so aesthetic.
Component I appreciate a lot apart from FPC which I am sure others appreciate a lot too by its nature of being folded into the buds, I think I appreciate the case PSBA the most, since it’s conformed to fit into the design of the case overall and still not only functions as it should, but also looks great like everything else (and again, looks like a spaceship and spaceships are cool).
