Always on Display (AOD) turning off screen/sleeping

Not a tester but joined new Dev Program a week ago. Have done testing for other companies and would be interested here too in the future.

Noticing the NP 2a will not keep AOD on and also goes deep sleep mode so it takes picking up the phone and pushing the power button to bring it back. It is set to tap to wake and raise to wake and notifications to wake.

Anyone else had this or know how to remedy it? Very annoying as my other phones NP 2, Sammy S24U, P8 Pro all do not have this issue.

By turning on AOD with no schedule set or Even setting schedule, AOD don’t work. But catch is AOD works if you connect charger!. Is there any solution? Or is it software related issue?

Help me out here guys. Just got a new phone 2a, it’s barely been a week. I turned on the AOD but it stays on for 5 secs and the screen is blank. Is it supposed to work like that?

Another issue is my lift to wake or tap to wake is not working. Anyone else have the issue. My software is up to date (os 2.6). Kindly help!!

Shashank_S Nope…AOD is working fine on my NP2a…I haven’t updated it to the newest version 2.6 yet…still at 2.5.6…..Maybe the new firmware is troubleshooting….The new 2.6 version is shit….Would have recommended to wait till September.👍

Hi, for a couple of days now, my Quick Look (AOD, Always On Display) is shutting down and is going to black screen after a few seconds).

I think I turned on and off all the available parameters and nothing is working back.

Is that a bug or something I missed?

muhkuhaushonolulu I’m on 2.6 for a while now but the problem occurs very recently…

This evening I had a big freeze… impossible to click on anything on the screen. Couldn’t unlock by fingerprint. I was stuck. Fortunately I could restart the phone by pushing Power +level up + level down for 10 seconds to reboot.

After this, touchscreen works normally…
