Amoled display software problem

Did anyone noticed this thing happening in phone 2

The upper area of display i.e the status bar area the pixels are not off as a amoled display it should.but there is light visible.before it was not there i think it should come through system update .it is not visible in this image but you guys can see in your phone

So I request nothing that if really happening what I am saying then fix it ,if not I need,we need a explanation

VishwanathS_ghante yes I’m having this issue but only when it’s in home screen, I always use dim brightness so it didn’t get noticed easily. When it comes to lockscreen and while opening other apps it’s not showing.

VishwanathS_ghante try using brighter colored wallpaper maybe it can solve the issue .

I want this issue to be fixed.

That is status bar shadow, used for better status bar view at white wallpapers

It’s appear only on black wallpaper, otherwise it’s fine.

Yes I noticed this on home screen of my Nothing Phone 1 and already tagged to nothing.

I am using nothing phone 2 no this problem did,nt came on my phone the photo which u shared is like a greyish radiant type colour maybe it,s a glitch or bug nothing will fix it if it is a problem then but I guess it is cuz this type of thing is,nt showing on my nothing phone 2

Yeah, i have the same white shadow. I hope Nothing Team fix the issue and also plz bring Amoled Black To the entire software UI than dark grey 🩶. Thank You

VishwanathS_ghante Don’t worry, that gray area at the top is completely normal. It’s slightly transparent (about 10%) and reserved for showing your notifications and phone status. This area is always slightly opaque by design. You’ll only notice it on dark wallpapers, since it blends in with black backgrounds. Not with white background.

It’s a common problem with OLED Displays and this is called PIXEL BURNING.

Due to excessive use of a perticular PIXEL(s) on OLED Displays , the Pixel are in the sense get (Burned) and when ever screen turns on the pixels are Like that Burned

This is a common problem among the phones of all brands with OLED Display and even with APPLE and SAMSUNG…..

And sometimes in rare cases this problem also occurs with LCD Displays……

The Solution is to CHANGE THE DISPLAY or DEAL WITH IT……

Or if it is Actually a SOFTWARE ISSUE then Brand can fix it in a SOFTWARE UPDATE if the public demand is high for this problem…
