PraneethRatnagiri Toggle off the in-ear detection in the settings and see if the issue(1) gets resolved or not.

They are working on a fix for issue(2). Stay tuned!

Sayan_Dutta I did try that but it doesn’t seem to fix it. The issue still exists, but not as frequent as before.

Hi another thing from my friend already quoted: wen iPhone (se2) + ear1 + voiceover ON the phone read 1 touch as “read input” + “click input” .

Normally 1 touch = read; 2 touches = click

This is a big problem because for example he make a lot of calls or send messages unwillingly. Bye

Is there any way to get the updates for our Ears(1), by a server for example.

I’m not sure if it’s possible to get a way to get the updates for our Ears(1), as the last update was almost 15 days later than a large majority of members.

Sib64 it’s currently being carried out OTA, Sib. But we’re working on ways to improve the process and the app itself. I also get my update a bit later. It’s a gradual rollout to ensure there are no problems and everyone can get it. 👍️

It wasn’t for me (I’m patient), and for the Ears(1) updates it’s not heavy to download via OTA. But I was mainly thinking about the future updates that will come for the Phone(1) and the rest to follow.
But I know that everything is already well underway and that the whole Nothing team has already thought about it.

From last 8 months I am using Ear(1) and found it good but there are bugs which keep on irritating. Lists are.

It changes ANC mode automatically specially when single bud is being used.
Battery drain rate is different for both buds wen used simultaneously
It is horrible to watch TV usng it on Samsung 4K TV. Every 15-20 sec its sound stops and resume. Not able to use it on TV.
Case hinge feels shaky. Always have fear of breaking it by mistake.
It takes time to reconnect on previous device. And if I open and immediately pulls one bud than case will connect to phon but that bud will not connect to phone. I have to place it again in case and have to take out it after 2 second to connect it.

If worked upon these feedback, it will definitely affect Masses.

And if so, the SoftwareDevs have taken into account these problems already pointed out

Got the Ear(1) from the beginning (or maybe couple week after 1st launch) and i love it
Great sound, love the design, easy to use.
No battery or connection issues.

I have a minor issue, which is that sometimes when i take the buds out of the case, only one of the two will pair to my phone, so I have to put them back in and out for them to work. But it’s annoying.

Two major issues with my ear (1)

1. Sometimes, the sound randomly stops for a few seconds, especially while watching videos.

2. Most of the time, when I take the buds out of the case, only one works. So I have to put them back in the case and take them out a second time for both to work.

The hinge of the case is not sturdy

the left ear bud magnetic connection is not strong i have to give small push to make it feel connected

The battery discharge on ear buds are not equal

Latency issue while video play which is very much noticable

The ear bud changes the modes in certain head movements and stops the play

Could not understand which mode it is in with the sound notification …a voice notification would be much better or a change of tune in sound notification for each mode will be identifiable

Call quality could be much more better as the other person could not hear well…have increase my voice for them

they cant hear im ANC MODE have to change transparency to have better audio

Feeling battery drain is much higher than promised

Adding few more equaliser option will be good

After removing from ear the play gets stopped after few seconds only

Auto stop after removing does not work everytime as it play back again after few seconds….not sure if it is because of fingers touching the sensors

Not so much a feedback, just some thoughts. Me and my audiophiles friends hard to accept the audio quality. But for the price and features, we let it go. It’s my backup TWS now

I’m very happy with the way ear (1)'s work and sound for the price they are available for but yes there are some minor bugs which I’m sure can be fixed in the future updates.

1. There is always a pause of 1-2 seconds every time i use these whether on my iPhone or my mac. On iPhone it pauses for a second or so and then continues playing just fine. On my mac, it doesn’t pause but instead goes into transparency mode(?) for a second or so and then starts playing perfectly fine.

2. We genuinely need a dedicated app for mac/windows because I feel we are not able to fully utilise the potentials of these ear (1)'s on mac & windows.

3. Most of the time when you take out the buds only one of them gets connected (either left or right) and you have to place them on the case again and then take it out again in order for both to be connected.

I love the sound quality, controls (the touch gestures on the earbuds) as well as the noise cancelling mode.

However one main goal for me buying this was to be able to take calls on it- this doesn’t work for me because every time I’m connected on the ear(1) during calls, the other person can’t hear me clearly and then I have to end up disconnecting and talking on my laptop speaker / phone.

Loving the buds so far! No audio issues at all. Only minor thing would be I keep getting a notification drop-down about my buds being connected every so often. Not exactly an issue as it could be my phone, its just annoying haha.

I think connection issue and ANC stability are the key issues I have been facing, just got mine not long ago, less than a month. I would say 80% of the time it works flawlessly, but from time to time the ANC just goes on and off, and the 2-3 seconds disconnection can be really annoying. Although the fix I had to do is to just put them back into the box and reconnect again, but it definitely affected my user experience.
