I had the new Ear for about 2 weeks now and on the second day I realised that my audio would get choppy after about an hour of use. I would described it as the audio being underwater at 5 10%. The problem would go away if i reboot the ears but the problem would come back again after awhile. I’m not sure if its a hardware or software issue. Hence, I’m posting on the forum to check if anyone else faced the similar issues that I have.

    what codec are you using? try to change codec and see if problem is still there

    Vanleab what makes you believe that? I’ve been in discussions with them and they couldn’t and didn’t t help me, when they had exhausted the usual FAQ replies they proceeded to ignore my emails

    Customer support is awful

      I’ve had similar connectivity related issues with my Nothing Ear (2024); the audio will have static and there will be minor but consistent audio cutouts or choppiness. It reminds me of how packet loss sounds when ona VOIP audio call with a bad connection. Returned the first pair, but the second pair do it too. I’m connected to a s24 ultra and had the same choppy audio when using ldac and acc codecs.

        AdamBerry I was using my HiBy R4 dac and wired earbuds but I gave up, the only reason I went down that route was because the Bluetooth connection on iPhone was terrible

        They’ve fixed the iPhone connection with recent update and I can leave my DAC for when I’m not working and it’s safer and more practical to use it

        Having a wired connection isn’t gonna cut it in my work space

        So the DAC and Nothing app don’t work at all but they’ve fixed the iPhone connection so I’m stuck with that for now

        danbottomburp i agreed with you now. my unit has volume issue, they both always auto jump from whatever volume level you set to 95%. if i forget to lower the volume, you can imagine the 95% volume blast your ears. i contacted them, they did reply but no solution. they proudly told me to lower volume before i listen to whatever i need to play. haha. funny solution

          I don’t want to sound like them and their robot replies but have you tried a factory reset on the earbuds?

          Also in Bluetooth settings , forget the earbuds and then reconnect again

          Seeing something very similar. I picked mine up today, works well with Spotify but playing any .m4b files stutters every 2 minutes.

          brazy_boii I thought I was the only one having this issue, I can hear static noise mostly in the left earbud, now this isn’t the noise caused by ANC or transparency, it happens even when they’re on off mode.

          Yeah I get this on the left ear too, when mainly on calls with people too. I turn off Noise Cancellation and Transparency and still happens.

          I’ve only had them a week and I can’t seem to solve the issue in calls - it seems to lose slight connection on the left ear and come back, but there is definitely a drop in audio
