Sib64 @Rudi, what is going on with deliveries? My phone has reached my delivery location and was due for delivery today, but just now Flipkart sent a message that due to logistical reasons the shipment is reschduled for delivery on 23rd and they are in touch with the seller. Pretty confusing and unprofessional too.

Lacklustre launch event…I mean what was that? Everything else has been top notch so far….the series, the tweets, the teasing, the parrots..

Anyway coming to Flipkart ordering:

As an investor - I have already obtained the pre-order pass. I was promised that I would be able to buy from 9pm IST onwards from Flipkart.

No special link for pre-order pass holders.
No email from Nothing or Flipkart
Some random hacky way to buy the phone (I had clicked Flipkart link from nothing link that took me to Flipkart page and I could just add some variant to cart). But that was only once - I can’t do again. Was just checking out for offers etc.
White model not available… all these days you guys only showed the white one officially..now forcing people to buy the black one?
No idea about bank offers - ₹2000 off with HDFC cards.
No idea if the pre order pass amount will be automatically deducted.
No information about freebies.
If the screen protector is pre applied (is it?) .. why selling separately?
Saw an unboxing video which had a clear case included - no information about it… do I have to buy one separately?

Overall it seems things have been rushed.. however clear communication is the key!!!

From what I saw online, UK customers get the phone and a cable – that’s it. No case.

Dipu For now it seems HDFC offer has been taken off. So besides being derived of first buy, we end up losing the discount too. Way to get nothing!

I would like to buy the 12/256gb option but there’s no clarity on when that would be available and if the pre-order pass would still be valid when it would go on sale.

sean (1) You can buy the case for £25 (which is a but cheeky), but since there’s a discount of £20 if you buy an accessory when you buy the phone it all kind of balances.

I dont see any benefits of buying the pre order pass.

Launch event was below par. And same is the experince on flipkart.

Freebies was mentioned for pre orders. May i knw what freebies are you guys offering.

Other phones/ ecoomerce have done better job while launching their devices.

Sad to say but i feel disappointed for investing in a company which is just hype and nothing.

Not able to preorder with my preorder pass and when I did using my friend’s Id on Flipkart it got canceled by the seller. Flipkart seems worst now. Really bad experience.

They say freebies and after investing still asking money for screen protector …charger …and case cover ….then what is the benefits as a investor we get and no availability for investors to get 12gb variant in a early way …

Also no details on the freebies that was mentioned in Flipkart site …

Please be more specific on how we can buy the phone 1 with pre order pass a detailed way ….and the freebies …even for warranty we have to pay extra with all those including buyimg charger..case..screen protector the total cost near to 45k (£564)….

In the preorder pass email it was said we can select the varaiant by 12th BUT WE DONT SEE THE OPTION ONLY TO BUY …NO COMMUNICATION WAS SENT OUT FROM NOTHING TEAM FOR PURCHASE

THE CHARGER FOR 45W HAS BUY OPTION

I want to appreciate the innovative design that you have brought to the phone and simple ui with smooth experience thankyou nothing team and carl …hope to see the unique standout in the tech industry in many years ….

Firstly no option to buy the phone even though have purchased the pass on day one.

Secondly no communication as to what are the freebies .

Thirdly now the delivery dates have gone to 2 weeks and also no white colour

Very bad management by nothing and/or flipkart.

What was that? I am an investor, I had a pre-order code bought by advance payment of Rs. 2000 and I have no buy button on the Flipkart. The pre-order clearly states, that this Pass would guarentte that I will be able to buy at 9pm on 12 July, but no, there was no phone model available for me. Thanks for treating the investors with false promises. Any solution if you can provide? Has this thread been created to silence all the investors who suffered the apathy of both sh*tkart and nothing or can we expect something concrete?

Had a chat with Flipkart executive. Apparently preorder is just a scam. We investors were given invite codes but later anyone on Flipkart could purchase pre-order pass. So apparently the entire point of having a preorder pass is moot. @Carl @Rudi really disappointed. All the talks about investor privilege just “NOTHING”

So the whole “ community first” was just bs! What’s more disappointing is that there’s still no response from Nothing Team about this whole issue! And FK is just giving crap answers that the product is out of stock!

How in the hell is it supposed to get out of stock if there’s no option to buy?

Ankit Gondalia Thing is as simple as maths, you issue pre-orders a little over the inventory not the other way around like this time when Flipkart doled out pre-order passes like freebies without caring and prioritising the pre-order passes.
