Compare Phone Vs Phone2a

Hi,

I’m trying to buy my new phone. I’m thinking about Phone 2 and Phone 2a.

What are differences? Pros cons?

Naturally I’ve got googled it and view many youtube videos but they all make comparison about technical components that I can see for myself in specs.

No one made a conclusion saying, for example :

If you use your phone for these operation you will notice no or many differences

All conclusions are : two phones are very similars. OK, I understand this, but why so many price difference if it is so ?

I tried with no success to find an answer in that for many days.

Now I decided to buy the Phone 2. I’ve ordered it some minutes ago. I hope I made the good choice for me by accepting to spend more money for my new smartphone.

which is a shame, is that the packaging is very pretty, but when I open it, if I’ve not feeling, I could not send back as “new” phone because it’s not possible to close back the packaging.

gian_80 the main diff is the chipset. Np2 is using SD 8+gen1, thats a flagship chipset. Np2a is using mediatek 7200 ‘pro’ chipset which is optimized to work with this particular phone, and it’s a budget chipset. For daily use, i dont think u will find a huge diff, both will run smooth thanks to Nothing OS. But if u use it for high demand task such as gaming, then u will notice the diff between these chipset. Andd..Why dont u wait for few more months n just buy nothing phone 3?

Thank you for this reply. I will get the NP2 today and I opted for the model more high-mid range to be sure. But for my use, and following what you say, the NP2a would be great too. I didn’t play on phone. But I love the full Glyphs on all phone and the possibility to use Qi charge.

I don’t wait for NP3 because there is no information about when is coming out. I see a post yesterday from Nothing saying no NP3 this year. I’ve got now a Huawei P30 Pro (1st generation) and it will be coming at end of life. This is too the reason I choose NP2 because we said me that I will notice less difference with my actual phone.

gian_80 i personally using np2a as my daily driver. No complaint, a good phone, good battery backup, decent camera, great display. Honestly, quite happy with my decision switching from ip13 to np2a.
