What’re your predictions for CMF Phone 1? 🤔

Describe, sketch or use AI to imagine the first CMF smartphone ⬇️

Well that looks interesting doesn’t it 👀 I wonder what we are looking at here.

Really interested to see what CMF are able to bring to this segment.

So many questions already from this one teaser image. Nice orange device will most certainly stand out from the crowd 🧡 It looks like there’s some nice texture going on, have missed texture on devices. Plus what does that dial do 👀

Rob ⚡️ Buenos dias, Rob! Good day!

For me, the chassis will be made of plastic and vegan leather. It will also have two cameras (in a vertical layout) on the top left, which is almost like the premium Phone (number) lineup. And that the back will be user replaceable, which is a rare occurrence for phones like this. On the back, there could be either a CMF symbol, or the CMF by NOTHING logo, which may be in the middle, on the bottom left, or both. That cap thing in the image may be used for some essential purpose, possibly as a camera zoom device, or a volume changer, or something else it could be. I don’t know yet. And even expandable storage, which is great, since I store a lot of memes on my phone (2). And there are some very special accessories that could be attached to the back of it all. These are all my guesses and don’t reflect the actual product, or maybe it will.

Can’t wait to see what CMF by NOTHING has been cooking up! 👨🍳📱🔥😍

This is really interesting! 🔥🔥🔥 is it some kind of functioning scrollwheel that interact with os?
Maybe is the first iteraction of a Rabbit R1 like new kind of UX with the device. I don’t know how easy to use (as position) is in a phone corner

OOOOH, new challenge for this product ! Price will be the war to win? Let see how the design will be, I like the design simplicity of CMF design.

Just update my np1. Remove navbar.

    Stop throwing together meaningless trinkets.

This looks really interesting could it be a volume wheel who knows I do like the colour very orange 🍊 be interesting if they have different colours too. Got some texture on the back too which looks nice will see when it actually comes out 😊

Is that a volume knob? That is super cool. I hope the cmf device runs a stripped down version of Nothing OS without any bloatware and receives 3 years of software updates. I wish it is a compact phone, with screen size around 6″. But chances of it being compact device at this price is very low. 🥲

Ooo this could be interesting! I’ve liked the choices around CMF and I hope they stay experimental! I wonder what we will see from the dial on a Phone.

Rob ⚡️ entry point to our entire product ecosystem

To me, the idea that this could be an “entry point” also implies that we could see similar pricing/placement of this device against other Nothing products (akin to how Buds are placed against Ear) but stripped back in some way and experimental in others. Watch Pro comes to mind because it didn’t use Wear OS, potentially we will see a more experimental OS spun off from NothingOS.

I initially thought the CMF PHONE 1 was a phone (1): CMF Edition, and wondered why nothing didn’t go for the (2) or (2a) instead. After looking online I’ve realised that may not strictly be the case (but could be, if it’s meant to be a budget phone).

The wheel is interesting. It would be great for zooming in the camera app, but if the phone is more than 22cm tall the wheel is in the wrong place for volume control – unless this is a foldable.

I wonder if this will be nothing’s compact phone. I’m in the market for one, but sadly this CMF phone isn’t for me because of the choice of colour (that can’t be entirely hidden with a case or skin).

Could be a good phone for school children, if it’s cheap enough and is designed to encourage less screen time.

Rob ⚡️ Wait! Is that a volume knob in a phone?🧐 .? Or knob which will help to scroll the content in a page?

Very exciting. Can’t wait to see how you guys tried to make it useful in real time…

Oh, wow, yet another budget smartphone…
I´d much more wish for inauguration of / and managing stability as well as maturity of existing products.
