I am in the same boat as others who have posted already.
More of a fan of the Community Updates being just that, updates to the Community about the questions the Community have.
Don’t get me wrong, little tidbits here and there are fun and appreciated, like the appearances of the Cleffa plushie across updates. The sudden announcement at the end of an update, like last year’s shadow drop of the “CMF by Nothing” brand.
My favourite parts of the Community Updates are that they feel unique, they feel like something else no-one else is doing. It feels quintessentially “Nothing”! I love hearing from Team Members about updates, small or large. I love having our Community Team featured, Rob, Natalie and/or Mattia. Plus, it gives the focus of your quarterly Board Meetings, letting us know where I feedback has gotten to and what updates we may expect in future. It helps the Community know that they are being listened to.
Finally, the Product Launches would get more traction, if they are labelled as such. Having Ear and Ear (a) launched in a video titled “Community Update”, means that those who aren’t already invested in Nothing, won’t stumble across it and be enticed to watch. Whereas a name of “Product Launch here!!” tells the passersby what is going on if they see it is live, or even a few days after the fact.
