DexTer_e03TBYSe6f Nothing Phone 2a have potential have a good camera quality, but they keep wanted to do overprocessing causing it take to long to preview photo and bad over sharping and oversaturated photos.

MauvinMonteiro same issue, voLTE/VoNR is not working properly. I’m unable to make calls and whoever calls me says Switched OFF. I had to turn OFF & ON the jio sim every 30mins - 1 hr to make it work.

    Please FIX this 🙏🙏🙏.

    Hi,

voLTE/VoNR is not working properly on JIO SIM after the recent update . I’m unable to make calls and whoever calls me says Switched OFF. I had to turn OFF & ON the jio sim every 30mins - 1 hr to make it work. Some times it won’t work even with VoLTE/NR/wifi connected.

Tried resetting the network settings. Nothing is working.

This is not the network issue, as it’s working fine on other phones.

    Please FIX this soon 🙏🙏.

Merged 1 post from Issue with JIO SIM after phone (2) 2.5.6 update.

After updating to 2.5.6 on nothing phone 2 . Happy to say it’s so good so far . Even speakers are more loud and very good . It’s the best update . No overheating .. phone is more stable . No battery issues. But I’ve noticed when you are making restart it’s taken a little bit more seconds to enter the system . Otherwise it’s very good . I’m using app powerful monitor on the device and all are great and activating the ram booster too . Every thing is very good

Thank you all for this efforts

Eng.reham Same here, i haven’t ran into any issues, not yet atleast and hopefully never. I did notice that the battery life feels a bit better and last a bit longer as well. I don’t do much stuff on the phone in general, maybe i don’t see everything that everyone else see as issues 😅 maybe some of us are lucky!

Battery is dropping 1% every minute after 100% charge battery life is worst in this update my charge cycles are 161 even after that I’m facing such issues this company is a scam they just want to degrade battery health. The phone is draining uneven current in just idle condition.

      I disagree with @Sonixxone & @Eng.reham for heating part.

Initially phone was not heating that much. But from last 3 days I’m facing the overheating issue. Phone ideally stays between 38 to 40 degrees. Just after normal usage. That’s weird. Already shared feedback with Nothing. Battery backup is good. Lasts 1 day. SOT 8.5 hours, +/- 1 in some cases.

I have noticed a decrease in battery life, specially with demanding apps with this update. And also I sense that the phone is heating more than before. I have used a tool to control CPU, GPU, and Battery Temp and everything has just raised 4-5 degrees more than the last update. Specially the GPU that is the most affected one.

Is there anyway to get proper battery consumption as I have seen with other fellows NP2?

mhdfirmus is there a video capture mode IN Expert Mode? Play around with camera app but couldn’t locate video mode, for faster preview after video capture =LOL , so unpolished phone zzZZ. Ty if you have answers to share. Cheers.

All perfect. It’s like having a new Phone (2). I’m from Europe but i bought the phone in Thailand during a trip. Always perfect. Far superior than my old OnePlus Nord 2 with the horrible ColorOS (they still call it Oxygen OS).

Battery backup didn’t change, i feel the phone smoother.

Just a small issue with the network operator name, i just sent the feedback to Nothing’s team.

PedroGarc_aCrevill_n Yep, dealing with phone heating is the worst. I’m seeing it too with the Nothing Phone 2 after the NOS 2.5.6 update. Apps like social media and media players seem to be causing the phone to heat up more and drain the battery faster.

While the screen-on time (SOT) is still decent at 8 hours (only a 30-minute drop from before), the constant heating worries me. It could potentially damage the battery in the long run.

The worst part? Nothing seems to be acknowledging it as an issue. They keep saying the battery drain and heating are normal! But come on, if the phone’s always above 40°C, that’s definitely not okay.

Hopefully, they’ll take it seriously and release a fix soon!
