Separate Language and Keyboard settings

So i just got the nothing 2, love it. but im confused.
i have the system language on english, but i want to use the swedish qwerty, however i cant find how to set it to the basic qwerty without setting the system language to swedish, and i honestly cant stand having the system language in anything but english.

the only way ive found is in the system tab but that changes the language of the entire phone and i really, REALLY dont want that D=

You can add multiple languages to Google’s keyboard. Open the keyboard in any app, press the ⚙️ and tap the first option: ‘Languages’. If you add more than one language, you’ll see a new button on your keyboard with a: 🌐 which will toggle between them.

Rob ⚡️ thank you but that is not the problem i am having.

i want to change the standard keyboard to another language without changing the system settings.

i have a English system, i want a Swedish keyboard, whenever i type, i have to manually switch to Swedish by holding the “space” key. i want it to always be a Swedish keyboard, but i do not want to lose the English auto-correct and i do not want to change the system settings.

And did you re-order the languages in this view to put Swedish at the top?

That should then be the default.
