About Date Widget: The prime purpose of a Date Widget on your phone home screen for me is to check the current date. Since the date does not change automatically at the end of a day in this widget, we have to swipe up to see the current date everyday. If we forget to do so, we might get confused with today’s date. In short I cannot 100% rely on the value shown as date in this widget.
I can understand the whole idea behind it, but does not look very practical when it comes to a widget compered to real world calendar. Atleast would prefer to have an option for the user to choose between Auto and Manual date selection.
Even though the current date font style looks good, I would have preferred the Nothing font ( dot matrix).
