Hi team nothing. I have a suggestion wherein I receive a lot of notifications but out of those some are not important so I want to clear that notification but to do so I have to clear each n every message of that app. So suppose if I get 3 notifications

#one from what’s app having 8 messages from 8 different chats

#second from messaging app having 7 notifications from different contacts

#third from gamil containing 10-15 emails

So now give us the option to clear the whole bunch like the messaging app one or the what’s app one apart from the regular individual message clearnce.

      No that’s not the case. What I meant is suppose there are 3 notifications

      • One from WhatsApp
      • One from text message
      • One from Gmail

      So now I want to keep whatsapp notification as it is and want to clear Gmail & message notification.

      Therefore to do so I have to swipe them individually to clear it. But in case where there are multiple notifications from Gmail & text message app then if I want to clear them I have to clear them individually which is fine but can I clear the the whole Gmail notification at once without clearing the others notification like whatsapp to be there.

      Because if click on clear all it will clear all the notifications. And not the specific ones.

        Deep - are you notifications grouped together?

        All of my Gmail notifications get bundled together as one, so I can just swipe away the stack of emails and keep the other notifications together, as I wish. Such as “Gmail (14)”.

        When I get a build up of notifications, I shall do a screen record to showcase what my notification shade behaviour is.

        In my use case, I can swipe away the notifications I don’t want to clutter my notif shade. Also, I agree that clearing all notifications with “clear all” isn’t always desirable.

            Here is a screen shot of my notification shade, with my Gmail notifs all together…is this not what yours looks like?

            The drop downs allow me to see each notification and clear each one if I want. Say I have 3 emails from Gmail that I can ignore, and dismiss them. Keeping one email viewable, to remind me to look at again, later. I can do.
