Always on Display for limited duration ?

Hello everyone, just wanted to ask if there was already AOD for a limited duration like 10s because I don’t want it to stay on non-stop, or if it was already planned for a future update.

Currently it’s only possible to set to always on or define a schedule.

Could you share any scenarios in which you would find this useful? As apposed to just tapping the screen to view the lock screen if you want to show info for a short period of time.

Derren Hey, well in my case I don’t want it to just stay on and consume too much battery, I was maybe thinking that it would detect when you raise the phone and AOD displays for 10s. Just to prevent screen usage and battery consumption

ATKNE-np2a_hype Currently there is already raise to wake for the lock screen, but i could see why some might want to quickly view a small amount of important info with less/no colour.

I already wrote feedback for more AOD options.like hiding the clock and only show new notifications
