Fr4nKB will test on 2a! seems really cool!

Edit1: Yes, the music seems far more synced now! Very nice

Devyn I admit that it was a little bit on purpose but I thought the drum at the begin would fit nicely and in fact it does😂

Fr4nKB can you kindly elaborate what you mean by the second point. How do i play it without the glyph composer app? I’m confused…

Edit: i guess you meant the glyph interface settings. But there is an issue to highlight, which i thought was because of the composer. Top left variable glyph light on the 2a doesn’t lighten up completely. It misses 2 parts of it. They just don’t light up.

could you share a video of this?
I’m not sure of the problem…

The problem is that with 2a the Glyph interface is really different from 1 and 2 and I don’t have a 2a that I can use for testing

New version available, Phone(2a) and Phone(2) rejoice:

      • Added Phone(2)'s 33 Glyph subzones addressing: Phone(2) users can now enjoy a more detailed ringtone
      • Phone(2a) glyph battery indicator (BETA): Glyphify now shows a Glyph battery indicator for Phone(2a) users. Instructions on how to use this are on GitHub

I would like to thank anyone who donated to this project: the top donors are now listed in the GitHub repo.

As always, you can download on GitHub, please share thoughts and videos of your Glyphified ringtones!

Hotfix just in, download from here
Now Glyphify works with all 33 zones of Phone(2) as expected, read the previous post for the whole changelog -> Fr4nKB

Thanks to @beastobadness for testing the hotfix and being the first donor and a massive shout out to @Mirko_ddd for the huge donation go check his app Nothing News

🆕 New version available, see demos (download app here)

        Changelog:

        • ⚡Made glyph animations more coherent: now glyphs are turned on based on patterns found in the song and not only randomly
        • ✅ Added a checkbox to switch between 5 and 33 zones mode (only Phone(2))
        • 🚨Fixed flickering of songs with high BPM

Here’s a demo comparing the same song with 5 zones and 33 zones mode:

        5 ZONES MODE:

        33 ZONES MODE:

You can download the app here, please let me know if you like this

I noticed some bugs in my nothing 2a, when apply a ringtone the glyph lights are partially on and some of not lights are not working it’s happening only previous update

RohithTony does this happen only for the variable glyph or for all of them? If you could share a video it might help debug this

muhkuhaushonolulu if you are referring to using a mp3 file as a source for a glyphified ringtone you can already do this, the app supports most of common audio formats

muhkuhaushonolulu I think i got it now, you want to use the sound packs in the composer app, that’s quite hard to achieve since there’s no way to access those sound packs from outside and also it would require a midi file to do this correctly meanwhile with a mp3 it would be less accurate

Another update and a lot of new things (see below)

            Important changes:

            • 🆙Improved UI
            • 🕒Ringtones are now ordered chronologically instead of by name
            • ⚡Added more glyph animations (Phone(2))
            • Decreased probability of getting the “support me” dialog after glyphifying a song

            Bug fixes:

            • The number of zones used last time is memorized (Phone(2))
            • 🔋Fixed battery glyph indicator service not starting on (Phone(2a))
            • 🧠Improved pattern recognition algorithm

            Here’s the redefined UI

And a demo with the new algorithm, The Prodigy - Breathe

How to use Phone(2a)'s glyph battery indicator (BETA):

            • First head into developer options and activate Glyph Interface debug mode
            • Then, set Glyphify to Unrestricted battery usage, this is will prevent Android from killing the foreground service
            • Finally, open the app and be sure not to close it (everytime you want to use this you need the app opened)

Now when you plug the power and the phone is laying horizontal you will see the battery indicator, here’s a simulation on Phone(2) of what it should look like:
