I wanted to wildcard now but decided to wait for the IB particularly eyeing Leicester, Villa and Chelsea. I was hoping for a new manager bounce in all 3 given the very favorable fixtures too. Leicester especially. Was looking to buy Barnes, Justin and Daka if a new manager comes in.

Fancy Cornet, Bamford and DCL too but waiting to see if Cornet starts and how Bamford and DCL look once they’re back.

As for FF, I’m not sure my team will bridge the gap but even if it does, you’ll no doubt claw back the gains in the upcoming weeks.

My Mum was rushed into hospital early last week and things were looking pretty grimm for a while, luckily things have significantly improved over the last few days and fingers crossed she’ll be discharged later this week. 🤞

It was the longest 24 hours of my FPL season - the time duration between Haaland’s what seemed like an FPL-season ending haul for non-captainers like me to tonight.

Close shave but my retard instinct is asking me to captain Cancelo over Haaland vs Sou😅

I didn’t use my free transfer in time, but I’m glad I forgot because I intended to bring in Zaha who blanked yesterday. Two free transfers next week, and I think I know who they will be.

Haaland is a joke, can’t think of any other player that just slotted into a team so well (ok, it is City so that helps) but he’s broken records ALREADY! Think he’s going to be my forever captain at this rate lol 😆

He’s banging goals in for fun. Anyone who played a triple captain this GW played a blinder. There’s not going to be many fixtures where Haaland might not be the no.1 choice for captain.

Problem we have though is over 80% of squads include him.

I’ve Arsenal players in my squad along with three Man City players, so some of them must go. Cancelo is a very good player but his recent form hasn’t been stella and there are other players who have scored more points so far this season and are cheaper.

I didn’t watch the game, but when I saw Cancelo’s total points I immediately checked if KirubhasWasHere had captained him. 😬

Salisu and Bella-Kotchap are really good at defending but Walker-Peters has been suspect for a while. So goals/chances had to come either from outside the box or anything from the left wing. So, Cancelo seemed more dangerous than Haaland.
